Emma came to us with no date and no venue, but an idea to get married in Berkshires/Catskills, and a vision.

Organic, 60s mod- meets - twee fairy, nontraditional aesthetics, colorful, genuine, fantastical, relaxing, bubbly, quirky, girly

Color palette: pistachio, mustard, clementine, beet, and cream

I toured several venues for her in the Catskills while she was home in Memphis and when I arrived I knew I found her venue. It took ONE meeting to convince her (sight unseen!) that I had found the perfect space to execute her vision. She trusted me from hundreds of miles and a plane ride away, and I’m forever grateful.

I cry at nearly every wedding, what can I say it never gets old.. but I cried four times this day. Emma and Five share such a beautiful, honest, and genuine love that I was just, crying, all damn day. These two souls were just made for each other, and I feel like I can say that because, well, I do this for a living ✨

whereas I’m always like “oooh, shots of people eating!”

It’s a polarizing thing, shots while eating - but idk, something about a half eaten plate and a passing of the family style platters brings warm and fuzzy feelings to my soul, much like this food did ✨

Winding up for another styled shoot in a few weeks, can’t believe the last one we did Nora was still just a little bean and now she’s Earthside and full of energy 👶🏼

Honestly nothing beats a styled shoot with great partners and a bomb aesthetic, and with this shoot at Sassafras we hit the nail on the head, if I do say so myself. Can’t wait to make more magic with my friends soon ✨
