Last month I stepped out of the norm and planned a Wild One 1st Birthday Party for the cutest little guy! Complete with a soft play area and animal rescue center that served as party favors! This party was set to be outside but unfortunately, it rained on our parade so we then transformed the client’s home into a safari for the day!

Put on your dress, shoes, accessories and jewelry and make sure everything looks perfect. Then, organize and pack it away so it’s ready to go for the weekend!

Wedding albums are timeless and one of the only tangible items you’ll have from your special day! Our number 1 is to invest in a great wedding photographer! Here’s some advice to help you choose the perfect photog!

- Learn more about them! You’ll spend a lot of time with them both prior to and during your wedding. You’ll want to select a photog that fits your personality and the personality of your wedding party.

-Check out their portfolio...do you like their style?! Every photographer shoots differently, you’ll find the most satisfaction in your wedding album if you select a photographer whose style you enjoy!

-Have they shot at your venue before? This is a big question as lighting and composition varies- make sure the team you choose specializes in the elements you’ll be marrying.

- Consider reviews and recommendations from previous couples or your close circle!

- Explore different packages and offerings. A standard wedding package includes 8 hours of coverage with one or two shooters, decide what’s best for your day and ask for packages to suit your needs! Don’t forget to ask if they include or offer an engagement session within the package; you’ll feel more comfortable on wedding day if you’ve shot with your photographer beforehand!

- A consultation is a must! There’s nothing like some old school, face to face communication...even a coffee date would be great!
