One year, we made the mistake of calling this a “Holiday Mimosa”, and pretty much all our Texas fans let us know - it’s called a Poinsettia. 😁

So with that in mind… Happy Poinsettia Day! Here’s how to make this tasty cocktail, perfect to enjoy tonight or during any upcoming holiday celebrations.

Ingredients:
1 oz. Cranberry Vodka
3/4 oz. Orange Liqueur
4 oz. Sparkling Wine
Rosemary Sprig for garnish

Instructions:
1. Add cranberry juice, cranberry vodka, and orange liqueur to a shaker, add ice, and shake.
2. Strain into a martini glass and top with sparkling wine.
3. Garnish with a rosemary sprig.

Impress your guests with this sweet and fruity Holiday Sangria recipe. This is the perfect sip to serve at a small holiday gathering, but can easily be scaled up for larger parties.

Ingredients:

1 cup(s) Brandy
3/4 cup(s) simple syrup
1 orange, thinly sliced
1 apple, halved and thinly sliced
2 bottle(s) well-chilled dry red wine
1 cup(s) club soda
3/4 cup(s) fresh orange juice

Instructions:
1. Stir together Brandy, sugar, and orange and apple slices in a large pitcher.
2. Let sit for 15 minutes.
3. Add wine, club soda, and orange juice.
4. Serve over ice.

Today’s featured holiday cocktail is for those that want a little spice in their glass. Turn up the heat with this spicy Mexican Hot Chocolate! 🌶️☕

Mexican Hot Chocolate Recipe

Ingredients:
▸ 2 parts Cinnamon Whiskey
▸ 1 part Chocolate Tequila Cream
▸ 1 packet hot cocoa mix
▸ Big pinch cayenne pepper
▸ Whipped cream and powdered cinnamon for garnish (optional)

Instructions:
1) In a large tumbler, add 1 packet of hot cocoa mix to boiling water (following instructions on the packet).
2) Add Cinnamon Whiskey, Chocolate Tequila Cream, and cayenne, and stir well.
3) Divide between two mugs and garnish with whipped cream and powdered cinnamon. Enjoy!

We didn’t need a reason to enjoy a beer, but we got one. So we’ll go with one of our latest seasonal arrivals - Samuel Adams Winter Lager!
