One of the biggest compliments we could ever receive is when someone who was in a wedding we filmed chooses us to film their own wedding! Ashten and Adam closed out our 2023 wedding season with the most perfect day. They got married in small town Iowa and sunset pictures on the farm were stunning. The happy couple was surrounded by all their friends and family as they vowed to spend the rest of their lives together. Every smile and laugh we captured during the day just showed us how big their love for each other is.

Sheliah and Maddy got married on a beautiful (slightly cold) fall October day. We had the honor of filming one of their best days together. They had the best crew surrounding them and celebrating their love story. Sheliah had this song written for Maddy and was played during their first look. Aleah and Nate- it's easy to see how truly in love the two of you are. Your faces light up when you look at each other, you make each other laugh, and you truly seem happiest when the other is around. It's easy to see that you married your best friend.

April and Cameron got married this past weekend and we were honored to witness their special day. I always love the special touches that make a wedding unique- a unity plant ceremony, a father daughter dance that turned into a "Fancy" Walker Hayes dance, the ribbon streamers the guests waved as they walked down the aisle as husband and wife and so many more... It was easy to see that April and Cameron were surrounded by the most loving family and friends and thus their marriage will have an amazing support system to celebrate with them during the good times and lift them up during the hard times. Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. and we wish you many many years of love and happiness.

This lovely couple was our last wedding of 2022 and we couldn't have asked for a better day. Their wedding day was flawless and the definition of picture perfect. There was no shortage of smiles and laughter. I'm not sure if my favorite unique moment was when Dawn surprised us all by signing a song to her new groom at the reception and totally killing it or the fact that they had a Blatz toast with a beer that shares their new last name! Here's to many, many more years of love and laughter.

I know we say this for every single wedding we film, but I don't know how we get so lucky to have the honor to film the best couples out there and Levi and Katelyn are no exception. These two were constantly smiling and laughing when they were around each other. It's easy to see their love was built on friendship and respect. Rain on your wedding day is supposed to bring the couple good luck and boy did they luck out. We saw some rain in the morning, just briefly right before the ceremony started, and then the clouds broke away and we had that beautiful sunshine we were all wishing for. I think the universe was saying that it's impossible to avoid hard times in life but just know the hard times will pass quickly and your marriage will be blessed with sunshine. Wishing you many years of good luck and sunshine.
