hi friends! perhaps some of you might be wondering what we’re up to in the Odd Humyns universe, and we’re here to give you an update.

over the last 3 years, Odd Humyns has served as a place for many things. gathering, creativity, self expression, community. in our brief existence we've witnessed some pretty radical moments in time, both on a personal and worldly level. through it all our Odd Humyns fam has helped carry us through. for that we can’t thank y’all enough.

but alas, our sweet Odd Humyns has reached it's end.

and for us, that's ok. bittersweet? surely. some of the best memories we have were made within the walls of the shop. so while we finish this final chapter, we hope some of these memories exist within you all, too.

what does this mean for the shop in the meantime? our physical space will stay closed, and our online shop will exist until Friday, December 3rd. all online orders will need to be placed by then, (we’re also still offering local pickup!) so get your holiday goodies before they’re gone for good. after that, we'll be taking operations offline to say our final goodbyes.

you’ll still be able to find Serena’s work out in the world, and be on the lookout for some wonderful musings from Sarah in the near future. thank you all for being such a wonderful community, we will surely miss you. we are forever grateful to have existed on this blip of a timeline with you all.

what's up, weirdos?! we're super excited for our maker mart this weekend, downtown is gonna be wild so you best get down here 🔥 (more info here: Oddtober Maker Mart)

we also want to let our Odd Humyns fam know that this Saturday will be the last day to shop in-store for the foreseeable future. we’ll still have our shop online and local pick-up will still be available, but we’ll be nixing our regular shop hours - all the more reason to come visit us on Saturday!!! 🌈 we’re also open today til 6pm and Friday 11am - 6pm 🌸

hi hi hi got a couple shop keep things for ya:
1. guess WHAT we still have a lil sale goin’! swipe through for some sale vibes !
2. we’re def still requiring masks inside, and we don’t provide free ones anymore (because at this point like, y’all should just have one?) but we do sell some in store, like this pink guy!
3. we’ll be closing early TODAY 9/10 at 3pm and TOMORROW 9/11 at 2pm, so get your butts here before then ok!

if you are on our newsletter list, you got the word that today is our oddversary ! although we opened in December of 2018, we started renos of our current brick and mortar in the summer of 2018, and thus makes it three whole years of occupying 209 N. Barstow Street. which is wild. through this space and through our Odd fam, we get the privilege of helping to grow a community founded in representation, creativity, and love.

as a little thanks, we have some treats for you in store today and you can even enter to win a $25 gift certificate! we’re so grateful for the support, especially over this past year, and we wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for y’all. love ya’s.

over a year after closing due to the pandemic, we are happy to announce the shop has officially re-opened. we are so thankful for the support we have received in the last year, and cannot wait to see your vaccinated faces once again. 🌈
