Meet The Eclectic Warehouse Venues: 6 Venues for Weddings and Events Dressed up, it is both handsome and beautiful. We would love to show you around.
The Eclectic Warehouse, our primary venue, is an event center that serves Eclectic and the River Region of Central Alabama. A 10,000 square foot structure with one acre provides intimate spaces and ample room for any event. Its antique hand-made brick and massive timbers create an ambience that is perfect for weddings, receptions, proms and special parties. The Sycamore Courtyard centered on a mas
sive sycamore tree out back surrounded by roses and jasmine is a lovely outdoor grassy lawn and includes an outdoor deck. Brides and grooms add their special touches complimenting the beauty, grace and elegance. Most importantly, you will want to visit and feel the space. It demonstrates the best of the South: durable comfort, traditional virtues and Eclectic charm. Originally built in 1928 as a cotton warehouse for Aubrey Hornsby's great grandfather, it has been in service to downtown Eclectic for almost a century. Through the years, the warehouse quickly became a festival center used for The Alabama Cotton Festival, Eclectic Trade Days, church festivals and school functions. It has been used for dinner theater and every imaginable concert theme. We are proud to offer The Eclectic Warehouse for your important and memorable moments in life. In addition, we have two other indoor venues and two outdoor venues plus three overnight accommodations. For us, it is all about celebrating life in the heart of Alabama.

Congratulations to Lizette and Payton, Married November 3rd, 2024, in The Eclectic Warehouse! There were so many personal touches and Rodeo related items that helped to define this day as an authentic Cowboy Wedding. The two-dinosaur flower-"girls" were historic, wish I had gotten them on camera...hopefully someone will send us a video! Also, thanks for leaving us that special-built hexagon arch for future brides.

The Eclectic Warehouse is devoted to weddings, festivities and events. We provide Eclectic and the River Region of Central Alabama with six venues and event settings. Brides and event planners from as far away as Destin, Atlanta and Nashville have found the traditional values and settings we offer in Central Alabama make The Eclectic Warehouse the destination of their dreams.
The Warehouse Event Center: A 10,000 square foot handsome building with substantial grounds provides intimate spaces, and ample room for any event: a place where sacred traditions, family fun, and community celebrations converge.
The Eclectic Woodlands: 10 acres of beautiful outdoor event space including wedding settings, reception-tent grounds, out-of-sight parking. bathroom facilities, and much more. Down a winding country road, close to the Warehouse Event Center, the wedding party enters a brook-side wonderland of meadows, ponds, and hills designed by nature draw you in and by our design team to serve sacred and festive weddings and family gatherings.
The Pond Cabin/Grooms Room: Adjacent to The Eclectic Woodlands, the Pond Cabin serves as a grooms room (if the bride doesn’t grab it first) It is both rustic and refined, comfortable and fun. It sits in the midst of a 500 acre treasure-forest compound on a pond built by Aubrey’s grandfather ( The General) many decades ago.
Aubrey’s Lakewood Home on Treasure Cove: This 1950’s cabin on Lake Martin’s Treasure Cove is pure magic. There was a time, not too long ago, when families found deep pooled peace in places like this. The world has hurried on, but here is where our memories were made. We often host intimate weddings and private parties here. VRBO 343852.
B&B Private Party Venue: Stamped metal ceiling, pine plank flooring, exposed brick. Perfect for 50 person private events. It is fresh and clean with a large modern kitchen and an age old ambiance. This historical building in Downtown Eclectic once housed Shorty’s Pool Room. Now we are booking birthday parties, bridal showers and rehearsal dinners where memories of old felt tables, pool cues, and age old stories hang in the air.
Harden Building: Basic and cheap. If you can’t do it here it can’t be done. At $50 an hour with a $100 minimum and a $200 maximum “facility fee” this heated and cooled 4,000 square foot room is awesome!
A few more words about The Warehouse Event Center: Its hand-made brick and massive-timbered ambience is perfect for wedding receptions and indoor-outdoor events. Its beautifully lit Sycamore Deck and Courtyard is a lovely outdoor space with 2000 square foot deck and grassy lawn where bluegrass concerts, beauty contests and vendor fairs have been staged. Its front lawn provides the perfect photogenic space for gathering, staging events, and seeing married couples off. Its 5 huge roll-up door make logistics easy and can provide a pavilion feel when open. With kitchen and bathrooms, our well planned facilities make the warehouse a “festival center” used for The Alabama Cotton Festival, Eclectic Trade Days, church festivals and school functions. It is utilitarian enough to be used for homecoming float construction, cub scout campouts, children's birthday parties, and even roller skating. It is always handsome and beautiful. Dressed up it can become anything you want it to be. It has been used for dinner theater and every imaginable concert theme. Brides, grooms, families and friends add their special touch for the perfect ambiance of handsome masculinity and fashionable femininity. You've got to see it. But, most importantly, you will want to feel the space. It demonstrates the best of the South: durable comfort, traditional virtues, and Eclectic charm. Originally built in 1928 as a cotton warehouse for Aubrey Hornsby's great grandfather, it has been in service to Downtown Eclectic since 1928. Since the 1990's it has become The Eclectic Warehouse, a multi-purpose, indoor-outdoor, wedding, festival and community event center. It’s Eclectic Y'all...Culture you can trust.
