Update on an earlier post for our meal delivery for shutins. We made 4 gallons of brown gravy with sliced onions and sliced mushrooms. Which allowed us to put together 3 pans of Hamburger Steaks with Gravy, Sliced Onions, and Sliced Mushrooms. I think that our shutins will really enjoy. They are also getting Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Green Peas, Roll, and Dessert. God Bless them 🙏 and all that help with our Food Ministry at Ingoma Baptist Church.

While watching TV they keep running ASPCA commercials. So I looked up their CEO, Matthew E. Bershadker was named president and CEO of American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) in May 2013[1] and serves on the Global Animal Partnership's Board of Directors.[2] He holds an MBA from Johns Hopkins Carey Business School[3] and a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from Ohio University. His annual salary as of 2023 was $750,000 base salary, with $276,000 in bonuses and benefits of $47,859.
I wonder if he donates to the ASPCA?
This is a crying shame that the donations go to pay his and everyone else's salaries. Who takes care of the animals. Maybe if they took a salary cut they wouldn't have to put on the average 980,000 animals a year. Why do they need that much money? Just asking

We roasted a Cauliflower, Olive Oil, Turmeric, Cumin, Kosher Salt, and Parmesan Cheese. Beverly made some Sautéed Green Beans and Green Bean Bundles. Came out great.

We had a great time feeding the VBS last night at Ingoma Baptist Church. Great turnout and lost of great volunteers to help. Thank y'all so much. We couldn't do it without all of the volunteers. God Bless

Yesterday we did on meals on wheels for the IBC Church shutins. We served Cajun Chicken Pasta, Green Beans, Salad, and cookies. We delivered 48 meals and everyone was appreciative and enjoyed. We were also able to feed helpers and route runners. God Bless. This will be a great ministry.

Tonight we did something a little different. I cooked a couple of meatloafs and Beverly picked some green beans and cooked them. We deliver food on Wednesday for shut ins, elderly, and families in need through our church, Ingoma Baptist Church. We normally stop for the summer, but there are a couple of families that still need some assistance. There are some that just need a visit. We are going to try and fill that void for these families. We delivered a meal for 4 today and visited with 2 other families. It really makes you feel great to be able to help.

A quick lesson about autoimmune diseases. It takes an average of 3 years and 5 doctors for a person to get a proper diagnosis of an autoimmune disease. I just wish more people understood what an autoimmune disease is. It is not a cold or the flu; you will never get better, and even a nap will not help. Just eating a salad and hitting the gym won’t slim your face or get the pounds off. Sleeping 10 hours doesn’t leave you well rested, ever. Last minute changes in plans because that “just got ran over” feeling. Achy joints and bones, dry skin, breaking hair, mood swings, and depression are just the tip of the iceberg. You are also prone to having multiple autoimmune diseases. The “put together on the outside,” rarely matches the raging battle on the inside.
I am watching the ones who will take the time to read this entire post and react.

Come join us to celebrate the 4th of July at Ingoma Baptist Church. We will have a 4th of July picnic followed by a fireworks display.
