Which Hydrangea is right for your garden?

💗 Panicle hydrangeas (Hydrangea paniculata)
These hydrangea are tolerant of many environmental conditions and easy to care for with a large, upright growth habit. Can be planted in full sun, drought tolerant once established. They have pyramid-shaped blooms typically white, red, or pink in color.

🤍 Smooth hydrangeas (Hydrangea arborescens)
Easy to care for with a fast-growing, these hydrangeas have snowball-shaped blooms typically green, white, red, or pink in color. Prefers morning sun with afternoon shade and moist soil.

Keep your eye out for chilly weather this weekend! Here are tips to protect your garden and plants from the cold:
🌺 Bring tropical plants, such as citrus trees, hibiscus, and mandevilla, indoors to a bright, warm location.
🌷 Some bulb plants, like colocasia and caladiums, can be cut back and stored in a cool, dark basement during the winter.
🌻 Cover inground plantings with frost blankets, burlap, or even cardboard boxes. These materials will help to trap heat and protect plants from cold temperatures. Avoid using plastic, as that material isn’t breathable and can contribute to moldy blossoms!
