Especially this week, support small businesses, local businesses, and people you know with side gigs!

Visit the local farmer selling eggs, buy a loaf of bread or bakery items from the corner farm stand, grab a scarf or hat from someone who knits, etc.

Who is Becca?

In the spring of her freshman year of high school, Rebecca Kirtman launched a dress drive to ensure that no girl would miss a high school event due to an inability to afford a dress. She collected and donated over 250 formal dresses by her sophomore year.

Tragically, Rebecca died in an automobile accident in August 2003, at the age of 16. Her family and friends turned her project into the federally certified charity that continues her legacy today.

There are 43 active chapters across the United States that are keeping Becca’s giving spirit alive and helping students attend their high school dances without the burden of the price of a formal outfit.

Rebecca Kirtman’s passion for helping others has now affected thousands of students, and we are proud to be a part of her legacy.
