Today we’d like to take a moment and shout out the unspoken heroes of Harford Sound, our incredible warehouse staff. Without their hard work and consistent attention to detail, we would not be able to accomplish everything we do in the field. These guys work long hours checking gear in and out, loading trucks and making sure our techs have everything they need to succeed. So, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for everything you do!

While we’ve been enjoying our 20 Year Anniversary celebration, we also have to shout out our good friends in alltimelow! They too have been celebrating 20 years as a band, and we were so excited to help support them in the final installment of at Merriweather Post Pavilion.

We supplied a complete d&b audiotechnik system consisting of KSL mains with flown KSL subs, and V8 outfills. B22’s provided low end support on the ground. This nearly sold out show was the band’s largest headliner to date, and the KSL system effortlessly provided seamless coverage to the entire audience.

We wish the band continued success in their careers, and we can’t wait for our next gig together!

On this month's of Harford Sound, we take a look back at one of our favorite local gigs, the "Bel Air Bash." It was a monthly concert series put on by a group of amazing local music loving volunteers. The Bash featured a magnitude of local talent over the course of its life, including some now nationally known artists. It was nothing more than a church gym in Bel Air, but each month we would transform the space for hundreds of kids to pack the room and watch their favorite local bands perform.

For Harford Sound, it was a place to learn. Learning how to run a multi band show, learning how to do concert lighting, learning how to get every bit out of the speakers we had without blowing them up. As we could afford new gear, we'd figure out how to implement it into the existing system. As we learned new skills, we'd test them out. The combination of all of this lead to an incredible experience for everyone involved.

And this just touches on the importance of the Bel Air Bash to this company. It will forever hold a soft spot in our hearts and the skills learned from this event still carry over to how we operate today.

We're back with more of Harford Sound! This month we take a look back at our first 'major' festival gig. It was the job that ultimately broke us into the local pop punk scene and introduced us to some lifelong friends and partners. "JHStival" at Joppatowne High School featured a lineup of talented local artists, along with now the nationally renown artist All Time Low.

After school on a Friday, we piled into our parent's van and met up with the owner of Electro Sound Systems, Tom Manchester for our first load in together. We were under equipped and under powered, but we managed to pull together just enough gear to make the gig work. The team effort laid the ground work for many years of great events together.

You can get with This, or you can get with That. Or both, like we did this past weekend at Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival! Harford Sound was once again honored to help our friends at Rock The House Entertainment covering a total of 5 stages throughout the festival this year.

This & That stages featured identical rigs consisting of d&b audiotechnik KSL, B22, M4, and V series with Avid S6L consoles at FOH & MON. The lighting rigs were fully loaded with Storm 1 Hybrids, Colorstrike M's, Strike Array 2's & 4's and outcast 2x washes, all controlled by GrandMA3 consoles.

This & That stages are always a fun challenge for our team. The stages run nearly 20 hours per day each show day requiring 2 dedicated teams to keep things running smoothly. Thankfully our guys make it easy, and we couldn't do it without all their hard work!

Harford Sound was happy to once again support Chicken Scratch with the annual Capital Pride festival in Washington, DC. We are always honored to be involved with such an amazing event. This year featured headliners Ava Max and Billy Porter. We provided our d&b audiotechnik KSL rig with B22 subs and DiGiCo SD12 consoles at FOH & MON. We can't wait for next year!
