So very happy for this group of girls!
Having a team with a bond like theirs- is not something you forget! 21 Years ago, I spent my 18th Birthday at Fort Dodge with a group of girls, just like this. And I have memories from state softball, that still make me beam with pride and joy. I hope they remember to take it all in- enjoy every single second and know that they have a crowd of fans behind them that are JUST.SO.DANG.PROUD.
Way to go Vikings!

Sharing this again, because it's neat to remember the history of Blooms.

Here is another photo that is related to the west side of Washington St ( aka Main St ). This pic is from about 1920 or so and shows the interior of B.E. Schultz Harness-Shoes and Electrical Repair shop. ( this is now Blooms ) The man on the right is Bert Schultz and as a young man he purchased this store and operated it into the early 1980's or late 1970's. Bert was the father of Rena Everett and Norma Woerdehoff. He was married to Verna.
The different stores that operated in that location were:
J.W.X Smith Hardware
Frank & Fred Densmore Hardware
Frank Densmore Hardware
T.L Hamlett Hardware ( Thomas Hamlett, father of Forest Hamlett )
A.J. Stone Hardware
Gustof Lundin Harness Shop
W.F. Shepard Harness Shop
Edward and Ira Hatfield Harness Shop
Horace Barger Harness Shop
B.E. Schultz Harness-Shoes and Electrical Repair Shop
Schultz Electric
Town & Country Warehouse.
( Bert Schultz sold shoes, harnesses and did electrical repair until there was really no call for harness work anymore and eventually just did electrical work. When he was older his son in law Fred Everett used the building for storage and misc as Town & Country )
I believe Porters had a work working shop there also?
Blooms is the current resident.

Phew! What a week!

Between 🥎 softball games, ⚾️ baseball games, 🌳 field trips, 🎖field day and finally- SO MANY flowers and deliveries 💐- I'm beat-- BUT I wouldn't want it any other way!

I am SO BLESSED to have such great and supportive friends and family.. I say it all the time- "It takes a village" and it literally does, but I'm convinced my village is the best ❤ I couldn't do it without all of you.

THANK YOU to my village, my family and my customers for making this a successful and wonderful Mothers Day week. I appreciate each and everyone of you.
