Since opening our doors to the public in November of 2022, we have been blessed to have gotten to know so many people through both the Event Center and the Boba Cafe. We have had the privilege of hosting more than 90 events, serving hundreds of bubble milk teas, and opening our doors for community events including free game nights and community sales.
With that being said, we have made the tough decision to host our final Sunday brunch on 7/7 (10am-2pm) and final game night on July 12th (6pm-10pm) before closing our doors. On both days we have milk teas available for $6.
While you won't be able to walk in to get a bubble tea drink by walking in for the for seeable future, we do believe we are in a "right business, wrong location" situation and are planning on still participating around Johnson County (including the Edinburgh Fall Festival) as a temporary food vendor and potentially looking at a food truck in the near future (if anyone has a lead on a commissary kitchen, please message us). We wish keeping our physical location open was feasible, however increases in local property taxes and electric rates along with a decrease in downtown attendance have made that decision make sense business wise.
We are extremely thankful for all of our family members for helping us renovate, clean, and get the building to where it is today and to our friends at El Potro for the encouragement along the way (and for treating our kids like part of the extended family).
