As a seasonal florist, the next best thing to flowers is incorporating natural elements into designs. I loved being able to use driftwood, seashells, and seaweed into this design to highlight the PNW coastal landscape 🪸
And a moment for those shell glasses?? 😍

I have to pinch myself sometimes that this is real and that this is the life I’ve created for myself. Younger me would never have even dreamed that I’d be designing florals at with a team of Seattle’s most talented wedding vendors.
But here I am, living life, navigating hotel service elevators, and sampling along the way.

February… always so much anticipation, new energy, and waiting (mostly for more flowers) 🌷
I sowed a lot of seeds in January and they’re going to start sprouting this month (I mean that in the most cringe way possible)

Running through the rain on your wedding day… what else do you expect for Seattle in January? ☔️
I had so much fun designing for R+G on their special day. Why? Because they loved that I only use local, seasonal product and foam free mechanics. No blooms available in Washington in January? No problem. They went green in their values and color palette 🌿
(But not the dress. The dress went blue and it was EVERYTHING 🩵)

Here’s to celebrating the beauty that nature is giving us this season 🌼
The big wedding season is winding down, which means I tend to focus on the ~business stuff~ *eye starts twitching*

My biggest piece of advice? Don’t ask me to hike.
No, really. Your flowers will be in much better hands with a professional like (and your photos will be stuunnninggg) ✨
I’ll design your elopement flowers at sea level, and then those who want to walk up a dirt hill, p*e in bushes, and eat raisins can go do ✨that✨
But also please do all the heart melting elopement stuff because the photos are gorgeous and *almost* makes me want to hike with you. ALMOST. (Additional charges may ((read: will)) incur)

Do you know how to hold your bouquet?
Here are some tips and tricks:
🌿 Pin facing you — all bouquets have a front and a back. Your florist will likely put a pin in the bouquet so you remember what side faces you. I like to do a pin + your favorite flower!
🌿 P***s, not b***s — bring the bouquet down! Folks often like to hold it up, but relax and keep those stems low. We don’t want to hide that cleavage your gown is showing off.
🌿 Tilt toward camera — show off those blooms and avoid getting any pollen on yourself. Let those flowers dance for you!
And don’t worry, I’ll be there to remind you and your party and ruin your romantic moment to yell “LOWER THE BOUQUET DON’T SMOOSH IT”
