I need some help. Fun help. But it’s complicated…
ECVB is doing a promo photo shoot on Wednesday on the roof at VW. BUT, it’s full band open mic on Wednesday and that really needs to be down in the RR. So I’m setting up for 7:30-8:00 on the roof, then we’ll move down to the Register Room for the Full Band Open Mic/Songwriter Open Mic at Village Wine. So here’s where I need your help: we need bodies on the roof from 7:30-8:00. So if you can get a few people together and join us for a beautiful sunset and a brief concert, that would be awesome.

Jude Kincer is going to be performing his music this evening at Village Wine again from 7-9 pm. He’s very talented and sings songs by Zach Bryan, Tyler Childers, Lucious, Turnpike Troubadours and etc. he has a few originals as well.
Jude is traveling with a friend and a dog and they are trying to make it out to Pittsburgh, PA. So if you want to get some entertainment and help them out, come on by and put something in the tip jar.

Hey folks, there’s a lot going on and we were only able to get two kids signed up for the Youth Open Mic tomorrow morning. BUT they are both great! So I’ll play some music from 9-10, then Jude Metzelaars and Emmerson Hansen. These two are guitar heroes, don’t miss it!

I’ve been wanting to have a youth/family friendly show in a park in Effingham or nearby, something ‘FOR THE KIDS TO DO’ and it’s getting so close I can smell it! The Burney Sisters are available to play here on Aug 11th and I’m talking to the powers that be to try to make it happen. In order to make it a free concert, I need to raise some $$$ to pay the band. So I’m trying this general appeal to see if I can get some locals to support this event by making a donation. I’m also very interested in attracting a sponsor for the event. If you would be willing to support this, please send me a DM or comment below. If you know a business that might be willing to sponsor, hook me me please! The Burney Sisters are Emma (16) and Bella (14). They will play a variety of instruments and sing beautifully, in harmony, on songs they wrote like this one and on covers. I’ve heard them do a bunch of covers that I love, like Billy Joel’s Vienna. They are truly amazing and I would love to get this summer concert happening, are you able to help me? Thanks!

Attention central Illinois bands! We do a full band Songwriter Open Mic at Village Wine the first Wed of every month. In Effingham. Basic backline is provided. This is for bands that can do their thing at a reasonable volume. Prob not great for metal, etc… We’d love to develop this into a cool exchange in this area so we can get to know you and vice versa.
