What's a holiday season without music? We wouldn't know, because our local performing arts organizations have some GREAT music on the docket for the next few months. Here are just a few of the events you'll want to put on your calendars:

Door Community Auditorium has two musical events to get you into the holiday spirit, starting on Saturday, November 30. Local band Ketchup (also known as the unofficial house band of Hill Street!) will reimagine and celebrate Booker T. & the M.G.'s iconic album 'In the Christmas Spirit', along with other soul classics from the holidays and beyond. A few weeks later on Saturday, December 14, Colin & Friends will be joining onstage for "Songs that Sleigh": a holiday show of classics, Broadway and just plain silliness.

Next, make sure you check out Birch Creek Music Performance Center's 'Christmas at Birch Creek' concerts on Saturday, December 7. There are two shows (a matinee and an evening show) that day, where you'll find Christmas and holiday songs performed by Birch Creek Symphony Brass, Dan Moore, Percussion, Door County Community Handbell Choir and Guest Performers.

And finally, wrap it all up with Northern Sky Theater's 'Home for the Holidays' show (pictured here!), running from December 27 through December 31. It's cozy, it's heartwarming, and it's the perfect excuse to sit back, relax, and let someone else provide the holiday cheer for once!

This past Saturday, we had an incredible time at the Associates Fundraiser with a SOLD-OUT performance by the Road Scholars: Spyro Gyra Tribute Band! 🎷 The evening kicked off with a lively social, featuring a cash bar and delicious heavy hors d'oeuvres from Alexander's, setting the perfect tone for an unforgettable night.
