🚨PLEASE READ🚨 Since posting about the event we catered on Saturday I’ve received a few messages stating “I didn’t know y’all were still catering!” So please allow me to introduce the faces behind GMC CATERING and why we do what we do!

Gary Miksik Jr.-THE OWNER AND THE SOLE REASON THAT WE DO WHAT WE DO! Gary tragically passed away in May of 2024, but it was no question that as a family we would continue this FOR HIM! From early on Gary loved helping his father cook and has loved it ever since! It started with cooking briskets for friends and then slowly progressed into what it is today! His dream was to own a catering company and to cook any and all things! He never turned down a request to make something we didn’t offer, but he would always perfect it to his liking prior to the event. His specialty of course was bbq!

Garrett Miksik-Gary’s brother and right hand man. They did everything together and of course BBQ’ing was not any different. Although Garrett may not admit it, he learned most of what he knows from his brother. He is the reason that we are able to keep this going! He works full time for Del Papa Distributing as well! He is married to his gorgeous wife Breana and they have a beautiful 6 month old little girl.

Gary Miksik Sr.-Our father, the reason we know what we do, supervisor, and back bone! He keeps up with the books and also mans the pit when he’s not working his full time job.

Lauren Hamilton-Gary and Garrett’s sister and the face behind all of the booking, quoting, invoicing and communications! She is married to her husband Trey, of three years and works full time at an elementary school as the school nurse!

Derek Gold-he has been a part of the crew from day one! He is a great asset to the team and is always ready and willing to help! When he isn’t cooking with us, he is at his full time job out at Formosa!

What started out as just a few friends who had a passion to cook, has now turned into a business we are proud to represent.

We are excited to finally have a trailer big enough to fit all of our clients’ catering needs.

We look forward to what the future has in store for us at GMC CATERING!

💥Update💥
I am sure most of you have heard about the recent passing of GMC Catering owner, Gary Miksik Jr. We have had so many calls and messages inquiring if we are still moving forward with catering for those who have booked for future events.

Allow me to introduce myself. I am Lauren Hamilton, Gary’s sister. Although I have personally reached out to most of you, I wanted to post here to let you all know that we are absolutely still going to continue catering. Gary worked so hard to achieve the dream of owning a catering business & getting his business where it is today. My other brother, Garrett, & father, Gary Sr, have cooked together for many years & we plan on continuing to cook because that is exactly what he would want! Of course, it was always a family effort for any & all events & we do not plan on changing that. Thank you to every single person who has trusted us with their event & recommended our food! We love you all & thank you for all of the love & support!
