On August 3rd, 2024, these two lovebirds tied the knot in the beautiful Old St. Hillary Church and celebrated their reception at the iconic China Cabin in Tiburon, Ca. It was an unforgettable day filled with love, joy, and personalized touches that made the event uniquely theirs! From the charming Pokémon-themed guest book at the welcome table to the stunning three-tiered wedding cake, every detail reflected their fun-loving spirit and commitment to each other.

“Our wedding venue required quite a bit of coordination including managing various rental companies, numerous vendors, and setup of both indoor and outdoor spaces. Despite it being her first time at this venue, Jenn managed every detail flawlessly. During the planning process, Jenn was incredibly helpful, always ready to answer our questions and offer valuable input whenever we needed guidance. She also provided excellent recommendations when we needed help on certain vendors (including a wonderful mobile spritz cart for specialty cocktails). Her responsiveness made the entire planning process stress-free. Additionally, she had a lot of complimentary décor items on hand, which was incredibly helpful when the small details started to feel overwhelming.

During the wedding, she was fantastic at providing direction and ensuring our guests were well taken care of. She handled everything with such professionalism and ease. Our wedding day couldn’t have gone any better. To top it all off, she also managed our florals, and they were absolutely perfect.

Hello Everyone!

I have never done an introduction such as this but now that I have a good looking Head shot, so it was about time. I'm the founder and Lead Planner for AWE Planner. I am a Born and Raised Bay Area Native. I grew up in San Jose, went to college in San Francisco, and I've called El Cerrito my home for the past 13 years. I have a degree in Criminal Justice and worked in a rehab facility for paroles, as well as working in San Quentin helping lifers on parole reestablish life outside of prison. My love for helping people has never stopped as I continued this compassion into planning weddings.

I began AWE Planner a little over 9 years ago by entering my first Bridal Fair at the Crowne Plaza in Walnut Creek, from this point I've coordinated and planned hundreds of weddings. I do not advertise AWE Planner, so most of the connections we make with clients are through word of mouth or recommendations from other venues or vendors.

People ask most often how I can be a Wedding Planner? My answer is my big crazy family really helps with honing in wedding clients and guests. If you think your family is rambunctious, you should meet mine. Honestly it is that every couple is different, and so is their love story. Getting to know my clients and their friends and family through the process is the fun part of wedding planning.

Other than planning weddings I am either enjoying water sports, hiking, reading, wine tasting, camping, loving my pets, and my partner Sammie.
