Photography has been a part of me as long as I can remember. But always from BEHIND the camera.

I excel at making others feel comfortable in their own skin; capturing the best of them. Promoting others through social channels. Elevating the realness & best of a business.

But me??
I'd rather sit w you. Share a beverage & a story. Tell the funniest jokes I know. Hopefully show you who I am in person. It's so hard for me to do it through social channels, though I stress to my clients how important it is.

August, 2015.

A good friend & I had always dreamed of an tour & decided it was high time we just did it.

I drove. I also took a wrong turn & we ended up at the gates of the Grand Canyon. Anyone from AZ who knows the state map knows I made a huge error....

We paid the $52 park fee to zoom through Grand Canyon because it would've been a 5 hour round trip error had we turned around & gone back. We stopped once to grab the dutiful Grand Canyon picture. I have no idea what happened to it. So $52 for... a shortcut?

Tears & laughter ensued. We finally get to Page & find a tour company (there's like 100) that has 2 slots left for the day. It also happens to be the best time to walk through the canyon; right around noon, when the sun is highest.

And hottest.

110 degrees.
50+ people on our tour.
3 or 4 tours at any given time.
No stopping.

Sweaty, stinky, thirsty, close quarters w too many people we don't know...
.. & worth every incredible wrong turn & image.
