When you have a flower order & you have no clue how it's going to come out but you always put your trust in God and in the end it always turns out amazing.
This week I realized I have a newfound love for sympathy pieces. You all know that every arrangement from Emmanellas is made with so much love, but sympathy florals always made me so sad. I just heard stories my customers would share and I would really feel for their pain. I would try to make them extra special, deliver them and that was that. & I wouldn’t really share that work because I didn’t want you all to be sad too. As you all know these floral designs were for a dear aunt, and my family allowed me this big honor. I got to deliver and be in the service and have a different aspect of this whole process. I got to hear lots of beautiful stories that may have changed or matured my mind a bit more. A funeral can be a beautiful thing honoring your loved ones and saying goodbye is hard but also a big reminder to really live everyday without regrets and so much purpose. We will all close our eyes and be laid to rest one day, and it’s okay, just remember to be present today because only God knows the day, hour and time. 🤍✨ if you are still reading this, comment below what colors or what flowers you would like to be honored with at your funeral?
Normally I don't share too much of my sympathy work, because I feel in a way it could be a little sad. 🥹However I really loved how these came out. Even though this day came with so many obstacles and set backs with my flower shipments in the end God was in control and everything turned out perfect in honor of beautiful Lola.
Sympathy tribute for a woman who’s laugh you could hear from a mile away, the one who always had beans and homemade tortillas ready. One who loved flowers and birds. These peacock feathers were hand picked off the ground by our dear aunt Lola, she always said I could probably make them look really pretty in my flower arrangements. I hope this design especially made for her made her proud as she gained her wings.

Congratulations to the Border Patrol on their 100 years of service. 💚✨ My brother, BIL, and so many other close friends are in the Border Patrol, so when they contacted me for this event I was super thrilled! When my brother joined 17 years ago, I recall telling him “I want to work for the BP too.” He laughed and said “yea right you would cry everyday.” 😅😂🤭 He was probably right, but today I can come back and say “I worked for the BP.” 😉🌷 It was a true honor to join in their 100th year celebration.
