3️⃣ Tips to Having a Stress-Free Event
1. ⏱️Plan WAYYY Ahead⏱️
Some may call me OCD, I say I'm just organized.🤷♀️ Whichever it is, you can definitelyfind me talking about events 6-12 months before it happens. Part of the reason is because it allows me to find the best deals and not just what will be here fastest on Amazon prime, and part of it is because it allows my creativity more time to flow and find new ideas. It also leads to my next tip, delegating which more time allows you to do.
2. 👭Delegating Tasks👭
Planning in advance leads to time to delegate specific tasks to others who are wanting and willing to help you. If you know that you will not have time to do everything (which you won't) having a friend pick up the food order or the florals can really be helpful. Opening yourself up to allowing others to help can be challenging, trust me I've been there as a Type-A, but realize just because you physically CAN do it, doesn't mean you HAVE/SHOULD do it!!
3. 👩🏼💼Hire👩🏼💼
Hiring someone to take even a little off of you whether it be planning, creating the list, and then leaving it to you to DIY can be so helpful. Even a little guidance from someone else with an outsider perspective can make the feeling of hosting so much less overwhelming.
