Update on Steve: He will be moving Monday morning to Mississippi Valley Healthcare and Rehab in Keokuk. This is where Kody (his daughter) works and she will be able to oversee his recovery, as I am getting busier trying to get the greenhouses going. Address is 500 Messenger Road, Keokuk, Ia 52632. The great news is he has started to be able to move his right leg!!! Thanks for all the well wishes, kind words of encouragement and prayers, as always, they are much appreciated. Keep them coming! ❤️

All the pretty flowers have come and gone, but when I came back out to work this morning, guess what, the mess was still here (yes I walked right out that door and didn’t look back last night !😂). No cleaning gremlins showed up during the night. A huge shout out of thanks to all of our loyal customers for supporting local. We wouldn’t be here without you! ❤️💜🩷

Update on Steve. He has been moved to Bloomfield Care Center to continue rehab for his right side. Room B7, visitors welcomed.

I will try to be open 9 to 1, Tuesday through Saturday for now. There may be some days I need to be at the hospital so it would never hurt to call first (641-652-3288). Sorry for all the inconvenience but we can never plan for these things, and family first.

We are still temporarily closed, but I will be in and out more often to fill orders. I will be doing flowers for the Thomas service. ( Such a great man!) You can leave a message and I will return your call when I’m in. Steve has been transferred to Ottumwa for Acute Rehab so as soon as I can work out a schedule, I will post new hours. Thank you all for the prayers and offers of help. Means a lot. He has a long way to go but one day at a time.

The walk in cooler has been shut down for two days to thaw out and get a cleaning. The bottom shelves have been woman handled to be cleaned, and put up quite a fight. Fifteen flower buckets have been scrubbed and disinfected. New flowers are ordered for Thursday delivery. Breaker has been thrown back on and here’s hoping she cools back down or our good friend Mr Jim at Benson’ Heating And Cooling will be getting a call Thursday morning. Hope you all have a Happy New Year! I’m going to go dry out!
