Out with the old and in with the New! Thank you Randy Tjaden Construction, Board Member Jeff Duit and other volunteers that helped get this project done! Our old deck stairs were unsafe and way past due for an upgrade! They look amazing! Next season we plan on staining them and putting on 'No-Slip Tape'. Fun seeing this project come to fruition!

There will NOT be Happy Hour tonight. We have Ken Brownlees gathering out here from 3-5. We also have a wedding rehearsal tonight. So the Cluehouse will not be open to the public after 630. Thank you!

Our grounds crew will be Aerating putting greens and pulling cores next Wednesday (8/28) and Thursday (8/29). Half the course will be open both days and all pins should be back in around 3pm both days. Please allow our crew the space they need to complete this project. Thank you!

Junior Golf Program participants and parents. There seems to be some miscommunication and a lack of updating our Facebook flyer. Junior Golf for the month or August was last Monday August 5th, not Monday August 12th. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Miller-Schmidt Cup stays at PLCC!! It was a super close close match! Town & Country Golf Club won the Best Ball Match (5-1) and PLCC won the Alternate Shot Match (5-1) resulting in a tie going into the Singles Match. PLCC pulled through with a 7-5 victory, crowning PLCC BACK-TO-BACK Champions winning 13-11!

Today is a match for the ages. Where 12 men from Pine Lake Country Club go to war against 12 men from Town & Country Golf Club of Grundy Center in a gentleman's game of golf. Today is the 35th Annual Miller-Schmidt Cup! Golfers from both clubs will endure a physical and mental battle for 3 rounds of match play, consisting of Best Ball, Alternate Shot, and Individual Play. The overall Champion will take home a traveling trophy and bragging rights for the next 364 days. Will PLCC be victorious and crowned the Champion for the 2nd year in a row? Or will Town & Country Golf Club reclaim their throne and take the Trophy back home with them? Wish these 12 brave men of PLCC good luck! That trophy is shall to remain here!
