Shoutout to Lyla Blodgett and Daanya Naseem for representing Electra ISD and the Tiger Band program at Area Tryouts today in Ranchview High School in the DFW area!

AND a special CONGRATULATIONS to Daanya Naseem for making the 2025 Texas All-State Band! This achievement is a testament to the many hours of hard work and multiple rounds of competitive auditions. Students that are selected to be a Texas All-State Musician represent the top 2% of all musicians in the state of Texas.
We are extremely proud of this dedicated young lady and her accomplishments. Congratulations again Daanya Naseem, we look forward to listening to your performance in San Antonio Texas at the TMEA All-State Clinic and Concert!!

Today our 7th and 8th Grade Tiger Band represented Electra ISD at the MS Region 7 District Band Auditions in Seymour, TX. These young musicians have come so very far in their skill and playing ability. Each one of these musicians is to be commended for their efforts!

The Tiger Band performed 3 times this week: This past Monday started off with a 2 hour afternoon rehearsal at our Electra Stadium, followed by our performance that evening in the Wichita Falls ISD Marching Festival receiving some great comments from our three judges in preparation for UIL.

Our Friday game in Seymour received many positive comments by fans and Seymour band staff during half-time.

The following morning our dedicated musicians arrived at the band hall 6:45am for a quick show run-through and loaded up to perform in the Seymour Marching Festival. This all day Saturday event allowed the Tiger Band to perform two times with comments from 5 judges on marching and music. The band received a Division I rating for their overall performance.

We are excited to keep on working and perfecting our show this week for UIL Region Marching Contest on Oct. 19th. We are very proud of the dedication and growth our musicians are showing. We invite everyone out on Oct 19th for our UIL Marching Performance at Memorial Stadium!!
