For me, it’s the little things that put my passion for Perky Petals Floral Design above and beyond. It’s a beautiful bow. It’s a ceramic container. It’s the touches of lotus pods and a yellow butterfly that makes this a remembrance piece for a grieving family and not just a plant.

Hello and Welcome to Perky Petals Floral Design! We are so glad you are here. The life of a florist. I made these 2 matching beauties for a family celebrating a special man gone too soon last week.

Up at 5:30am to make bouts
Left the house at 6:45 to get to the wholesaler by 7:30am
Got my pretty flowers and supplies and headed home. Got back home at 10am
10-2:30 finished wrapping boutonnières, put them in the fridge, made bows, wired gerbera daisies and worked on the open heart and casket spray.
2:45 load heart, casket spray and boutonnières into the car with the ac on full blast. Grab wallet and cell phone.
Get to Elgin Funeral Home by 3:05 to deliver for the family.
Busy busy day.

Oh, those amazing Scabiosa! It’s such a versatile flower, it can be used in any kind of design style. Its flowers burst out happiness, and this will be appreciated during any season of the year.

It’s a Hydrangea highway! 💙💙 Happy fact: White hydrangeas will always be white, but the pink and blue can be manipulated by the pH levels in the soil! Now you know!!!!
