MY HAIR IS MESSY.

My messy hair is a visible attribute of my stubborn spirit. I don’t allow anything in my life to be perfect, because lets face it... nothing is perfect. I like raw moments, capturing the reality of what is right in front of us everyday. I don’t curl your baby in a basket and photoshop their acne skin and wrinkly feet. I want to photograph your etched skin and oil stained jeans. I will be overjoyed to snap pictures of you and the people you live for and love endlessly even with messy hair. I want to capture real laughter, your kid’s and their stained t-shirt, I want to photograph your perfectly perfect imperfections.

Photographs are used to understand what our lives mean to us. I don’t look back at impeccable pictures of me and my loved ones, I remember the bloopers and ones that were taken in between.

That is the photography I live and breathe for.
