Such a stunning day for Aly + Luke at the incredible Ashton Hill Farm in Galena! Aly was a total knockout but what I love most about her is how kind she is from the inside out. It radiates through her personality and makes her even more beautiful (if that's even possible!). Luke is so strong and kind and such a perfect partner for her. I loved hearing how they met through Aly's dad and seeing the close relationships between both of these amazing families. Aly has such a close bond with her parents and sisters. Luke as well with his parents and brother. One of my favorite parts of the day was getting to see the moms of the bride and groom and how sweet, kind and loving they each were and how happy they were for their children. This was an awesome day and even better party thanks to Excel D.J. Entertainment and Photo Booth keeping the party going strong!

Loved working with this sweet couple! You can tell just by being around them how much they adore each other. Stephen burst into tears the second he saw her come down the aisle. Their friends and family were so happy for them and absolutely packed the dance floor! I loved how they included their sweet puppy in the wedding and bridal party photos! It was such a fun day and I couldn't be happier to have been part of it.

A dreamy Chicago wedding at Charcoal Factory Loft in Lincoln Yards. This couple means so very much to me. I got to document their proposal and see their family and friends reactions when they went back to their home in Galena to share the news and it was such an amazing thing to be part of. Then getting to see their incredible wedding day and be a part of their love story was a dream come true. It was a day filled with absolute love and kindness in a way that I truly have never seen.

Another beautiful wedding this past weekend for Kylie + Jake! The day was jam packed with everything from a gorgeous ceremony at St. Michael's in Galena, to a trolley ride, golf course outing, and a gorgeous Bentley getaway car. The DJ kept the party going strong and we saw some killer dance moves (splits!) and amazing toasts and speeches from loved ones. It was a beautiful day for an incredible couple!

A gorgeous day for Shannon and Kyle! I loved getting to be there to see them celebrate with family and friends and their adorable son! The hand made arbor was so beautiful overlooking the lake and jh Events and Flowers did a spectacular job on the gorgeous florals.

They are such an amazing couple and their friends and family knew how to party! Not hard to do when you have the legendary Mike from Alexxus Entertainment running the dance floor! They ended the night with an epic sparkler line where everyone sang to them as they ran through. It was a beautiful day from start to finish.

It was a stunning day at Steeple Square in Dubuque this past weekend where Leia and Thomas said I do in front of their closest friends and family in a gorgeous venue! I loved hearing how these two met and fell in love while attending Loras together. They both adore each other! What I loved seeing is the way they let each other be themselves. When some neighborhood kids were looking through the window, Thomas invited them in and gave them party favors and they both posed for pictures with them. Even on their wedding day, they were showing love and kindness to others instead of being all about themselves. They share such a unique kind spirit that shines through each of them differently. They compliment each other perfectly. After a stunning ceremony, their friends and family tore up the dance floor with the greatest DJ who kept the party raging all the way until they left in a lighted exit at the end of the night!

My name is Mollie and I am the creator of Wheat & Willow Photography. I am a mama of 4 beautiful, rowdy, piratish kids and almost wifey to a gorgeous, bearded tree-climber named Seth who is superdad when I am doing what I love: creating beautiful photographs for the modern human.
