Kayla & Justin didn't let a little rain stop them from an amazing wedding day! I had so much fun at this wedding and a huge part of that was Kayla and Justin just having the time of their life and not worrying about the small stuff.

The ceremony was absolutely stunning at the beautiful Steeple Square in Dubuque, IA. They followed up with a reception at the Best Western in Dubuque and had an amazing party to celebrate. This group knew how to have so much fun and keep the party going all night long. I loved getting to hear all the stories and see the family surprise Kayla and Justin with a rendition of YMCA (a family tradition so I hear) that was absolutely hilarious.

Kayla and Justin are so in love and their family and friends are so happy for them. Their love for each other is evident just being around them and it's easy to see that they are so happy together. Congratulations Kayla & Justin!

This Nordic wedding was so much fun to be a part of. I had gotten to know Tessa years ago when we met at a bridal convention and have loved working with her and Tony. They are a beautiful couple and celebrated their union by keeping Nordic traditions alive. They did everything from a Handfasting to raising a horn at the end of their ceremony, to Tessa's rune painted on her face. There were so many beautiful details and ancient traditions that they thought behind every part of this day. I loved having fun with their friends and family and getting to capture so many beautiful relationships between Tessa and her mom and children, Tony and his mom and son and many more. Congratulations Tessa & Tony!

Such an amazing wedding this past weekend at Pecatonica Beer Co. in Warren, IL. I loved working with Emily and her mom, Anne in the months leading up to this. Anne could seriously be a wedding planner for a living. She left no detail undone and thought of absolutely everything. Robert is so chill and happy and has a great energy that keeps everyone laughing and having a great time. Emily is a strong woman who is independent and headstrong. I loved the story from her best friend about her finding her way through Italy driving a manual car when the trains were on strike!

These two danced the night away and had such a cool, unique wedding with everything from a great DJ, great food to a photo booth, video guest book, Nothing Bundt Cakes (my favorite cake ever..can't go wrong) to a real auction where they auctioned off which table got to eat first in the buffet line! I love weddings where I get to see things I have never seen before and that was a first for me! This was an amazing day and I'm thankful to have been able to be part of it. Congratulations Emily & Robert!

A super sweet sneak for a super cool couple. These two were so much fun to work with, so laid back and had a blast with their friends and family all night long. They got married at the always awesome Chestnut Mountain Resort and even rode the soaring eagle together right after they said I DO. Eileen was surrounded by the whole reception and they sang "Come on Eileen" to her. It's clear this is a special couple that are loved by so many. This was an awesome night filled with some really awesome people.

A beautiful day in Galena from start to finish. An incredible party and gorgeous details. These two were an absolute dream to work with and kept whispering to each other all throughout the day and sneaking moments like they were the only two in the room! They were so lovely to each other and to everyone around them and truly soaked in the day without a care in the world. I was so happy to be a part of their stunning and intimate wedding with a dream team of vendors that made it pure magic!

Jenna and Tanner said I DO! This couple was so kind and sweet and had an ARMY of friends and family that were so fun to work with. I loved getting to see Tanners sister and mom dote on him when they saw him in his tux for the first time and the way that Jenna's parents shined with love for her as they watched her marry her forever love. Everyone was beaming in happiness for these two! Their wedding party had 13 on either side you guys! And the CUTEST kids that were so fun to work with (cue the picture of all the gorgeous flower girls!) They were surrounded by love and tons of people who believe in them so much.

Tanner's dad shared how much Jenna's love has brought the best out of Tanner and it is shown all over his face every time he looks at her. His face when she walked down the aisle said it all!

The design for this wedding was absolutely stunning. Cathy from Second to None Home and Event Design absolutely killed it with gorgeous details and florals that brought the ballroom to life and made my job easy! Mike from Alexxus Entertainment kept the dance floor so fun all night long as usual! Maggie and Sarah and the incredible team at Eagle Ridge were there to make sure everything ran smooth as can be.

Congratulations Jenna and Tanner! It is obvious to everyone around you that you two were made for each other!

Shannon and Jordan got hitched at Eagle Ridge Resort and it was near perfect weather! Jordan is a pilot in the Air Force and they had to work around his military service to make their relationship work. I can't imagine all the sacrifices they have made as a couple and he has made as an individual in service to our country. They have been through so much together and they have such a strong and loving relationship. They absolutely adore each other and it shows in every one of these photos.

He and Shannon have amazing accomplishments but they both shared with their friend and officiant that they consider marrying each other their greatest accomplishment to date. Seeing how much they love each other and how much they have accomplished truly is inspiring.

Shannon dedicated her bouquet to her mom in one of the most touching speeches I have heard on a wedding day. I loved how she pointed out how her mom never wanted to be the center of attention and always did so much for her children behind the scenes.

I actually felt really sad at the end of this wedding because it was just such an incredible day with such a high energy group of really kind people. Some weddings you just feel all the love in the room and think that these are the kind of people that go out in the world and make it a little better each day. What an awesome group and a beautiful day!

From the beautiful ceremony to the party bus to the dance floor (the DJ and MC were friends of the bride and groom and absolutely killed it!) this one was one for the books.

Whatever floats your boat! These two are engaged and celebrated out on the lake at Carly's family home. When Elliot suggested jumping in, they briefly looked like they were considering it but decided against it since they were fully dressed and going to dinner. Then Carly's dad called her chicken. she gave him one look and she and Elliot went right in.💀

These two were SO fun and adventurous.. I got to spend the entire evening in a stunning place, with really cool people, an awesome dog and got to document memories they will have for a lifetime. Congratulations Carly & Elliot, thank you for reminding me why I love this job so very much 🤍

I'm the baby of 8 so when I say family chaos doesn't scare me..I mean it! I love wrangling big families and dogs (I have two of my own that are more like small horses) and getting everyone comfortable behind the camera. I cherish spending time with other big families and seeing their dynamics and the fun they have together. Most of all, I absolutely love getting to play games with the littles and hang out with the kids.

Parents, and moms especially, know that family pictures can be so stressful to organize (the outfits! coordinating time between so many people! the stress!) but it's all worth it to capture those beautiful, authentic moments like these. Loved this gorgeous family and their beautiful chaos!

It was a beautiful wedding day at National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium this past weekend for Piotr & Jo! This was such a beautiful setting and fit Jo's love of plants and animals perfectly. Guests played with the otters and we found out one even had amazing taste in fashion and was fascinated with one little girl's sparkley shoes!

Piotr and his family are Polish and introduced many guests to some amazing Polish music played by their amazing DJ who always keeps the dance floors so fun!

Jo's dad made the arbor for the wedding and all of the plant holders and centerpieces out of family barn wood.

Every detail was so beautiful but I truly loved how much these two focused on each other and didn't have a care in the world other than marrying each other. They are so kind to everyone around them and fit so well together. Congratulations Piotr & Jo!

My name is Mollie and I am the creator of Wheat & Willow Photography. I am a mama of 4 beautiful, rowdy, piratish kids and almost wifey to a gorgeous, bearded tree-climber named Seth who is superdad when I am doing what I love: creating beautiful photographs for the modern human.

When looking for my own wedding and family photographer, I felt that I had to pick according to their photography editing style instead of letting me decide how I wanted myself and my people to be portrayed.
