If you are conducting serious business such as online banking, know how to recognize your banks typical behavior and NEVER give out your personal information to someone you do not know.

I am completely humbled by the events of today, for each and every visitor who stopped by the shop. So much laughter and almost some tears. Thank you Denise and Teena for the delicious cake and punch and for the help today. Thank you Travis for the lovely yellow rose. Thank you Page for the awesome shirt. Thank you Yvonne for the goodie box and all the hard work and friendship over the many years and a special thanks for putting up with me and my messes lol. To each customer thank you for making Busy Bee Florist a success. Without your support there would not have been a flower shop in Elizabeth. May God bless each of you. Time is quickly passing... Tuesday of next week will be my last day as owner of the flower shop. Stop by Busy Bee Florist of Elizabeth on Tuesday for light refreshments and visit for a bit. I am truly going to miss you all. I've made some very good friends over the years and I am so glad I've been able to serve Wirt County and surrounding counties with florals and gifts.

Just to be sure everyone understands, I’ve been asked to prepare the baskets for the Fire Department bingo and I will have them all done before I leave at the end of the month. 😊

Big changes are about to happen at Busy Bee Florist. Some of you have already heard as of Tuesday, February 28, 2023, I will no longer be the local florist. I have been giving this serious thought over the past couple of years. I’ve prayed and prayed about what decision to make and I feel led to sell my shop to Denise Nelson and Teena Hall. They will continue to run the flower shop under a new name and offer a variety of new things. I encourage each of you to continue to support these wonderful ladies as their adventure begins and the years to come.
I will miss the many customers that have become great friends and extended family over the past seven and a half years. The smiling faces, the special visits and gifts along the way. I have enjoyed filling orders and delivering to so many. The best part of the job was meeting so many new people, seeing faces light up as the receive their flowers, candy bouquets or gifts. When I first started I never dreamed sympathy flowers would be such a comfort to so many. My heart has been overwhelmed with kindness I’ve been shown through the years. Yes there’s been a few unhappy customers along the way, but those very few were to be expected knowing not everyone will be pleased all the time.
This page will be closed down in the coming weeks or months. I will post the name and phone number of the new shop as soon as I can.
Just know that I appreciate you all who have supported me over the years and I will miss you. My new adventure is to enjoy my life and do some house makeover and improvements. I’m very excited to take this step. I’m certain I will be in Elizabeth as often as I can be and will see some of you while out and about. So, until February 28, I will remain your local florist 😂

The WCHS FBLA Fashion Show will be Friday, Feb. 17th at 6:00 p.m. in the auditorium. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Over 130 dresses will be available for purchase. This event is open to the community and admission is free. We hope to see you there!
