Downtown Elizabethton needs your HELP! 🆘🆘🆘

“Every few years, we work with TN Main Street and Main Street America to collect data from our community to support our program. The results will be used to support Main Street Elizabethton’s program goals, known as Transformation Strategies. These plans help Main Street Elizabethton create opportunities for local business owners, downtown promotions, entrepreneur spaces in historic buildings, and active and vibrant downtown spaces.

are conducting focus groups via Zoom regarding how Sprinkled by Cookie Crate shows up for customers in our community.

Folks who are willing to participate can follow the link provided in the post to a Google form to select which day they would like to participate.

Wednesday’s session will be at 4 p.m. and Friday’s will be at 1 p.m.

As a treat for participating, you will receive a delicious, (complimentary!) Cookie Crate

and one lucky participant will choose their favorite organization for a Sprinkled fundraiser.

Good, I mean G•R•E•A•T things happen to people who work hard, invest in others and push to be the best they can be. Not just for themselves, but for the community as a whole.

I am BEYOND grateful to the City of Elizabethton and all they have done for Carter County during this time of need as well as supporting this grant program for those who want to elevate their space, protect their investment and continue the pursuit of a beautiful, safe and vibrant Downtown Elizabethton.

Congratulations are in order today for Lisa and Albert, Fletcher’s Homemade will soon have an updated, accessible back entrance.

When ANY of us win, we all win. I cheerfully celebrate this win with my friends today. 🫶🏼

This afternoon Albert and I were having our coffee and working on the daily NY Times Wordle. I finished it before him and was giving my usual ‘helpful’ hints. My hint today was to pretend I was answering my phone to a congratulatory call from the city of Elizabethton telling me I was awarded the latest downtown GRANT. (I hate to spoil it for anyone, but today’s Wordle answer is grant. )
Not a moment later I get a call from Logan at City Hall to congratulate me on being awarded the latest grant! Fletcher’s Homemade is getting a new back door, y’all! So happy and thank you to our hardworking city leaders who search out these amazing opportunities for us!!

📣 Book your 2024 events ASAP!

Because, we are CLOSING!

(But only for a month!😉) We will be closing on Monday, December 16th for a major renovation/update project that will take us over a month to complete.

*We are not booking into 2025 and will not take reservations until after the first of the year.

We have been BEYOND grateful for such incredible community support over the years. We have several guests that have booked Building 520 four or more times since we opened our doors in 2021. Wow!

So, after three and a half years we wanted to freshen her up, give her a whole new look and feel and offer our community a new coat of paint and fun new vibe.

(I think you’ll love what I have up my sleeve.)

I can’t thank my friends and community enough for the years of support and encouragement. It is my honor to continue my legacy of investment into this Downtown Elizabethton I love so much.

After what this region has been through the last few weeks, I am convinced that there is no other place I want to call home.
I will continue my efforts to elevate, inspire and revive anything I can get my hands on.

Not saying we need a Ritz Carlton in Downtown Elizabethton.
(Or maybe I am.)💁🏼‍♀️🤭

But, for a moment, imagine if the folks holding on to the empty or unused properties were willing to hand them over to those who TRULY want to invest their resources into this community.

THIS community. OUR community. The community that we are watching devote themselves fiercely and fearlessly on behalf of their hurting neighbors.

If this tragedy hasn’t opened your eyes to what unity can achieve, you’ve not been paying attention.

🙌🏻 So excited for Meraki Macrame!

Well, getting the opportunity to open up a shopfront for a few months was definitely not on my bingo card for 2024, but I’m in no way complaining.

It’s just official enough for me to be able to say that it’s happening. I have a vision, and the plan is working itself out along the way. My heart has always felt compelled to give back to my small town of Elizabethton, and now I have the opportunity to do so. There’s still so much to get settled, but I will absolutely be sharing this journey with you all as I take it on!

My hope is to create an environment for local makers and artists to share their work with this community for the Fall and Holiday season.

While it will be short term, I know it will make a huge impact. I’m so excited, thankful, and dizzy with ideas.

Here’s to the dreamers and the schemers!

🍪We are seeking a flexible, part-time baker for our team who can work Monday/Tuesday and one additional weekday. (Typically 9a-5p and hours will likely increase closer to the holidays!)

🩷This Saturday, (7/27) the pink sprinkler is honored to host our very own Dancing with the Tri-Cities star, Lauren Clemson!

🩷You’ll be Sprinkled by THIS star ⭐️ from 2:30-6pm in the parking lot of Studio Dance and in return, you’ll have an opportunity to ‘sprinkle her with love’ to benefit Jeremiah School.

🍦🍪🍦PS - A new selection of custard flavors and The Cookie Crate cookies will be available.
