our bittersweet news 🕊️
The end of July we will be closing our shop.
Like the first picture, this shop has truly become something so beautiful— piece by piece and with great care.
Having the shop has truly been such a humbling experience, learning that God’s time is best, learning ways that my definitions of success and failure can be flawed, and embracing the gift of community.
I’m so so thankful for the beauty, friendships, joy, and growth that has been cultivated in this little space that used to be just a dream drawn out in my journal.
For what’s next for our family closing feels right and we feel so excited for what’s ahead!!! 🤎
Some moments I’ve treasured
1. Creating floral interpretations to poems
2. Designing for weddings— this one’s bridal bouquet
3. Floral workshops!!
4. Hosting kids drawing workshops!! They were so fun and so sweet!!
5. CREATE DAYS! Wow these filled my heart deeply
6. Watching Ezra grow in this place— from taking him there with his bouncer so we could finish painting and putting up shelves, to play dates at the shop with his besties and praying he doesn’t break anything
7. A floral interpretation of “A Small Psalm” by my dear friend Madeline
8. The beautiful moments we’ve gotten to capture! .j.thomas capturing motherhood so beautifully amidst our floral meadow
9. Creating with God all by myself in the shop. These were some of the times I treasured the most.
10. Our opening day!!
💫my heart feels full at the thought of all that has gone into this shop, and the gift it has been.
We will be closing but my friend .shop will be opening her own shop in the space! She is dreaming up so many beautiful things for the space and it’s so special that downtown can experience such a sweet soul! So excited for all she is going to make her shop to be!! 🎀
