Empowering, Educating & Evolving

The arts empowers all that are involved - both performers and audience members alike. When students participate in the arts, they learn to work with others to create something that can be shared with others. When they volunteer, they learn life skills and the joy of giving of their time and talents to help their community. As audience members, regardless of age, we take a break from our real lives and are immersed in another world of music, dance or theatre for a short time.

A primary function of any performing arts center should be to educate. As the home of the arts for Elizabethtown Independent Schools, the EPAC is focused on this responsibility. We realize school sponsored performances may be the only exposure to a particular art form some students may have and we strive to make every experiencee as professional as possible. We not only offer performance opportunities for our students, but also technical theatre training. We will continue expanding learning opportunities each year.

The EPAC is the oldest performing arts venue in Hardin County. Generation after generation have performed on the EPAC stage or enjoyed a school or community performance. As time has passsed, changes and upgrades have happened and are currently happening. Each decade has brought changes in technology, form and function. Every change presents more opportunities to serve our students and community. It will remain a primary goal of the EPAC to evolve in every way possible to make our students, faculty, staff and community proud. We hope you will want to be a part of that in some way.

To volunteer and become a part of our EPAC Crew or to donate to the EPAC, please message us or call 270-769-6343 and ask for the EPAC.
