Hello FB Clients & Couples: An update to our business ops for 2024: As you know, Mondays are our day off, given we work every weekend all weekend. When a national holiday falls on a Monday, we never “get” a holiday, it just gets blurred with our normal day off.

As of 2024, any week that includes a Monday holiday, we will be closed Monday and Tuesday to enjoy time with our families and to actually “get” a holiday like the rest of the working world.

We appreciate your understanding, and we’ll be even more rested and ready to take care of our couples, as we take better care of ourselves. Thank you!

It was our biggest wedding of the year and one of the biggest (if not THE biggest) design/installation wedding in our history: From a custom floor wrap to creating and rigging hanging greens, the tablescapes, the printed material, the centerpieces - all but the tall florals thanks to Floral Designs of Mount Joy! - created, conceived and carried out by our team and a handful of local vendor partners. Whew! If only there was time to have captured it all: Every inch of the venue was decorated, 38 man-hours of prep and setup, then 3 days of cleanup and packing it all away again and readying for the next luxury wedding!

New for ‘22: Coming to a Pittsburgh cookie table soon! For those of you in-the-know, a cookie table at weddings is a tradition in the ‘burgh, and one of our recent couples brought ADORABLE replicas of Pittsburgh bridges for their cookie table. After searching and searching, Mx2 Event Design finally found a set to call our own! We are so excited for our Pittsburgh couples, it’s these little details that make a milestone event even more memorable! Available for rent, too! Can’t wait to see these babies on a cookie table soon!

Happy 2022 to all! What a busy, busy year 2021 was, and with so many weddings moved from the previous year into an already booked-up `21, we simply didn't have much opportunity to create posts here on Facebook!
