We’re hiring! The City of Elk Grove is seeking a Part-Time Customer Service Representative to join its team at the City’s premier Community Event Center, District56. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with a diverse community and exhibit strong customer service skills. The candidate will be detail oriented, able to multitask, communicate effectively and courteously with colleagues and customers, and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

This is a part-time position, with prorated and limited benefits eligibility. $24.12-$32.33 hourly.

The Meet of Champions showcases some of the best swimmers in the Sacramento region. Swimmers come from 51 teams and must meet specific time qualifications in order to be invited to the meet. We’re thrilled to welcome over 1,000 swimmers at the Elk Grove Aquatics Center on Saturday, August 3 and Sunday, Aug 4.
Due to the swim meet, recreation swim will not be available at the Elk Grove Aquatics Center but pools are open at the Wackford Aquatics Complex (9014 Bruceville Rd).

The Comstock Conference is the largest and fastest conference in the Northern California Swim League and includes our Elk Grove Piranhas. We’re pleased to welcome their championship to the Elk Grove Aquatics Center this Saturday, July 27 and Sunday, July 28. The meet will bring over 1,000 attendees to the District56 campus this weekend.

Due to the swim meet, recreation swim will not be available at the Elk Grove Aquatics Center but pools are open at the Wackford Aquatics Complex (9014 Bruceville Rd) if you’re looking to beat the heat!

We want to hear from YOU! The City is working to recertify the Community and Senior Center building from the LEED Gold Level to the LEED Platinum Level after the recent installation of solar photovoltaic panels at D56. LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certifications provide a framework to promote healthy, highly efficient, and cost-saving green buildings.

The purpose of this survey is:
1) To get feedback from building visitors on the modes of transportation used to travel to and from the building.
2) To measure visitors’ overall satisfaction with the building.
