Smith who is famous for Johnny Cash’s recording of “Far Side Banks of Jordan”. He is also the National Traditional Country Music Association Songwriter of the Year in 1995 and 1996. “A Songwriter with a Different Touch” is a superior performer whose music has been recorded by Johnny and June Carter Cash, Roy Acuff, The Oak Ridge Boys, Kitty Wells, Chris Le Dous, The Statler Brothers, Kris Kristofferson and others. He has entertained crowds of all ages at private parties, corporate events, senior events, schools, fairs, and fundraisers in the Siouxland area for ten years and is extremely talented! Elaine Peacock is a popular singer, entertainer, speaker and recording artist and square dance caller from Elk Point, SD. She sings and entertains regularly in the Midwest at fairs/festivals, churches, fundraisers, senior events. Elaine performs gospel, Patsy Cline and a variety of music from her 7 cds - five of which were produced by Minnesota native, Dennis Morgan Songwriter.com! She calls dances in a three state area for clubs and schools! She has coordinated the musical entertainment for the festival since its inception. Another new artist on the schedule is Gospel Singer/Songwriter Denise Edwards of Brandon SD. Many of you may know her as the talented accompanist for the South Sioux City, Nebraska Middle School Choir who has shared her piano and keyboard expertise this year. Singing the National Anthem will be an amazing 10 year old singer, Jasmine Lounsbury, from Sioux City! Our fine veterans and families will be honored for their service and sacrifices for our country and our freedom. Without them we would not enjoy all of the freedoms that we have today. This is a fun family event. There will be the Masons FAMOUS ROAST BEEF DINNER at 5:00 pm. (carry outs available) Concessions from 11-2, a Circle Jam Area for any musician/singer, AND CRAFTS!!!! So…..
