A little winter setting helped spruce this place up before the holidays! We love being able to match pieces, colors and faux florals to your house and give you that cozy, chic and beautiful feel before hosting your family & friends. Teach your kids how fulfilling hard work can be and watch them learn to love it too! We’ve been busy clearing out the gardens the last couple days and wouldn’t you know- the kids have been our sidekicks. JB worked a full day with the crew even, learning and picking up on how it’s done. Until next year ✌🏼

🌿💐 Floral Fun with Foraging! 💐🌿

Yesterday, we hosted an amazing floral design class for the Elk Rapids Garden Club, and let me tell you—it was pure magic! ✨ The theme? “Design with What’s Around You!” Think foraging in your own backyard for hidden gems like wild grasses, colorful branches, leaves, berries, and beyond. 🌾🍂

We guided our attendees through the process of gathering and arranging materials from nature, transforming them into stunning floral masterpieces. The best part? You don’t always need fancy, imported blooms to create something special—sometimes the most beautiful designs come from what’s already surrounding you. 🌻🍃

From learning the mechanics of how to shape and balance the arrangement, to finding the beauty in the unexpected—everyone left with a new appreciation for how nature can inspire creativity. 🌿🌸

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we say goodbye to our beloved Nana.

For our nearly 40 years in business, if you’ve been a part of our journey, you’ve witnessed Nana’s quiet strength and constant presence. She was everywhere — in the gardens, carefully cutting flowers; in the kitchen, preparing meals to nourish us; cleaning vases and sweeping floors; reloading batteries in candles (no matter how tedious); and always, always holding babies with love in her arms. Her hands never rested, and neither did her heart. For us, and for so many who knew her, she was truly a superhero.

But even superheroes, as much as we wish they could, don’t stay forever.
Her presence, though, will always be woven into the fabric of who we are. She will live on in the gardens she tended, in the flowers she wrapped, and in every piece of our family’s work.

Nana was the heart of this family — the reason we are able to work side by side every day, and why we cherish each moment we get to share with you. The values she instilled, her love, and her wisdom will continue to guide us.

We will carry her with us in everything we do, honoring her legacy with the same love and dedication she showed every day.

Join Elk Rapids Businesses for a family friendly Fall Festival, Saturday, September 28th from 11 to 3. There will be music by Sandy and the Bandits with line dancing, food, games, kids' activities, pickleball demo, alpacas, home and farm vendors, and more! Pickleball demo will take place at the new pickleball courts at Veterans Memorial Park. Kids demo from 11 to 12 and adults 12 to 1.

A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Wedding Families

As we take a moment to breathe on this beautiful Sunday, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to all the amazing brides, grooms, and families who have trusted us to be a part of their special day this season. Your love and trust have made summer, especially these past four weeks incredibly busy and equally rewarding! 💐

Sundays are usually our days to pick up from events, and today was extra special as we brought home and distributed nearly 50 bouquets to local shut-ins, friends, and more. There’s nothing quite like seeing smiles light up when these flowers find their new homes. 🌷💕

A huge thank you to our wonderful mom/nana for all your help this summer with cleaning flowers and vases. At 85, you truly are the boss, and we love you so much! ❤️
