ERHS Choir will be performing the National Anthem tonight! Come check out the new gym, with the ribbon cutting ceremony at 6pm, guided tours after that, and an exhibition game at 7pm with some of our boys and girls basketball players!

For now, all is finally quiet in the house... A great big THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support this production and our students! Congrats to the cast, crew, and pit band on four AMAZING performances!

And thanks to the luxurious Von Trapp living room, we temporarily have a pretty fancy "ghost light" for our friend that watches over the house when we're away!

Opening night was a huge hit! Today our cast gets to put on 4 mini shows for our school district, then another full show for the public at 7pm, before our final performances tomorrow at 2pm and 7pm.

This is our high school group, who have not only been class acts on stage, but have also been great mentors to our younger cast members! Tickets are still available both online (https://www.erschools.com/district/services/event-tickets/) and at the door for all 3 of our final shows, but you may want to purchase in advance through our website in case we sell out for any of these remaining performances!

It's OPENING NIGHT for "The Sound of Music" at Peterman Auditorium! Say hello to our Cherryland Middle School portion of the cast, who have all been great contributions to the show!

-all cast that can make it today, 4-6pm for song/scene work

-tomorrow is now 3-7pm, running the show with "R" cast

It is officially SHOW WEEK for this group of student actors and actresses!!! Performances are at 7pm on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, as well as a 2pm show on Saturday. Tickets are still available for each performance, so get them while you can!

With the cast and (most of the) crew on mid-Winter break, there was finally a few days in a row with only our technical director in the house, which means stage painting time! First photo is after tape was removed and several spots smoothed out, second one is all exposed spots covered with a base coat, then final coverage with a new paint that we're trying out.

Full disclosure: this is NOT one of Mr. Bachi's favorite things... 😂

Online box office opens up in less than 2 weeks! The kids are doing GREAT learning the show so far, and set building is about to begin. We're so excited to bring this show to the stage, and hope you'll join us!

"A Collection of Christmas Comedies" opened up last night at Elk Rapids High School's Peterman Auditorium, and it was a big hit! Two more opportunities to catch it tonight and tomorrow night, so please consider joining us for some laughs!

Christmas comes early at Peterman Auditorium this year, as ERHS Drama presents: "A Collection of Christmas Comedies" on November 30th, December 1st and 2nd!

This is a collection of 4 short one-act plays written by Don Zolidis, all with a Christmas theme! There's a North Pole spin-off of Cinderella, gnomes trying to get hired at Santa's workshop, elves going on strike, and a finale with a Dr. Seuss feel to it! The kids have been working hard over the last month, and we think the show is really, REALLY funny!

We are not doing advanced/online ticket sales for this show, so get there early to make sure you get a good seat! Cash or check only at the door, which opens at 6:30pm each night. We hope to see you there!
