Weekend in the Country - 2024
Feb 29 - Mar 3

We are changing things up next year, going back to more of a party than music fest. It just became to much work and production to enjoy the gathering like it used to be. I will start updating the website soon to coincide with the changes from the last few years. Here are the highlights of changes.
The event is free with no cover charge.
There will only be 1 full band each evening.
No vendors except for 2 food vendors.
Cutting back on some of the events.
Opening the hilltop back up to atv's.

Hope everyone had a great New Years and Christmas! Now it's time to get your plans together for Weekend in the Country Music Fest and celebrate Texas Independence day. March 2-5 at Cowham Ranch in Slocum, Tx.

Tickets are available online now at cowhamranch.com. Get your tickets now because the price will increase as the event gets closer. Tickets are good for all 4 days of the event as long as you don't remove your wristband. 12 and under are FREE. Event is BYOB (no glass). Chairs, coolers, and carts are allowed. There will be multiple food vendors on site. Camping is allowed, though travel trailers/rv's and off highway vehicles are an addition charge. Event is rain or shine. There are plenty of covered areas in case of rain, including an 80x72 roof at the stage. There will be lots of port a pots and a full bathroom with shower available for public use. Tickets are $40 now, but will increase to $50. Cash only at the gate. Merchandise is also available online, but only until Feb. 5th.

Cowham Ranch is HIRING STAFF for Weekend in the Country Music Fest. - 11th Annual at $12.50 an hour for multiple jobs from Wed. Mar. 1st-Sun. Mar. 5th. As of now shifts will be in 12hr. blocks staggered over 24hrs a day. Staff working will be given an admission ticket good for entry the entire weekend.
