egg + honey walked…so Riverbird could run.
While egg + honey has jumpstarted what I truly believe to be a complete homesteading brand in itself, it’s time I evaluated everything going on, and made some decisions. So, allow me to introduce the new name and face of this dreamt up little hobby of mine back from 2023, Riverbird.
Now, while I could ✨easily✨ surpass the amount of text in this caption by explaining everything I am doing, I am going to start with just a couple answers to the most popular questions I just KNOW I will be getting.
Q: So, what is all changing?
A: Besides expanding, officially becoming an LLC, and the name and logo, absolutely nothing. Expect a whole new side to Riverbird as well coming November. 👀
Q: Will you still be selling sourdough?
A: YES. N O T H I N G is changing when it comes to any of my current products. Open orders are staying. Simmer pot bags are still flying off the shelves. Sprays + rollers are still filling homes.
Q: How can we help/continue to support?
A: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me get the word out that egg + honey is now just called Riverbird. This was a HUGE risk I decided to take knowing that I very well might face a huge setback with. And while I am prepared for a setback, it will be easier to get through with all of your guys word of mouth. So please, any SHARES you can do with this post will seriously help me SO. MUCH. Especially with the holidays approaching.
Q: Why did you decide to do this?
A: At first, the goal was to just do a rebrand and keep my name. At the very last minute I finally decided to change the name, and honestly just didn’t look back. I had thought of this name months ago, but never thought I’d actually be able to use it. When I started egg + honey the brand in itself was very much tailored to what I thought everyone would like to see. Yes, it was somewhat me, but in reality it’s vibe really was created among what I thought everyone wanted to see when it came to homesteading. And then the name. As much as I did like it, there was absolutely no rhyme or reason behind it. No story. No purpose. Now, there is meaning to it, my girls. Also, a lot more bases can be covered now. 😉
