The Patterson Hill Farm was established in 1874 by George LaFayette Patterson. 6 generations have lived and worked this farm. We enjoy sharing this historic venue for weddings, family reunions, church camps, and other events.

Charles Wayne Patterson loaded up his cattle to sell on February 8, 2007. My husband checked our 8-year-old son out of school to be a part of the event. Chapman had spent untold hours following my dad around our family farm. As the cattle were being loaded, my dad squatted down to tell him that our family had run cattle on this land for over 100 years. Daddy cast a spell on Chapman that day, as his heart’s desire has been to bring back the cows ever since. My dad died 5 days later.

On October 11, 2021, Chapman introduced these 10 ladies to Patterson Hill Farm, and our hearts are full.
