WHO ARE WE? Card in the Yard of Howard County was acquired by Patty & Mark Carroll in 2013. It was previously founded, owned and operated by Dawn Coolahan of Ellicott City since 1991. Dawn operated the service all across the country as her husband was active military. Although Dawn still oversees the multiple locations, the Howard County location is independently owned and operated by Patty & Mark Carroll. Patty & Heather Carroll run the day to day operations and are likely who you will speak with when calling the company at 410-480-9200. Patty & Mark also utilize the help of their boys Austin & Jake who do delivery/setups/takedowns as well as cleaning of banners which can be very time consuming when times are busy. Heather (Patty's daughter) is the "behind the scenes" person who handles the page, marketing, order taking, book keeping & financials.
