We would like to thank everyone who have sent their condolences and kind comments this week after losing the face of the farm, Boo the camel. We recognize more than ever how much we value our amazing community and your support has been a tremendous support in dealing with the loss.

Sometimes a loss in our life causes us to reflect where we are and where we want to be. This has been a difficult year and we pray that through the difficulties we grow stronger and look to joy over discouragement. We realize we have been very limited in publicly sharing the joy's, trials, and overall things we are so thankful for at Wishing Star Farm.
- We are thankful for our staff, vet, volunteers, suppliers and all who who are so skilled and passionate in helping us care for our animals, visitors, and clients.
- We are thankful for all who have visited the farm this year or had us visit with our mobile petting zoo or pony parties.
- We are thankful for the support of our community and look forward to more opportunities to partner with schools, churches, clubs and organizations in Ellicott and the surrounding towns.

Finally, although we were unable to hold a Wishing Star Farm Christmas Event this year, we encourage and hope you will continue to follow us. We look forward to having you share your time and thoughts with us at our next event or when we are invited come to share in your special event.... May God's hope and peace be with you this Christmas season as we celebrate the birth of Jesus.

It is with heavy hearts and sadness that we let the Wishing Star Farm community know that our beloved camel, Boo, has passed away at the age of 32. Having been with the farm for so long, he was the icon and one of the favorite animals everyone loved to come see. We offer a few pictures in tribute and would welcome anyone else to share their favorite memories in the comments. He will forever remain in our hearts and memories for the joy and wonder he brought to so many of us.

We start our Fall Break events tomorrow with our teacher / student appreciation discount tickets for $12, Thursday join us for PPLD reading with the animals and a $12 discount with your PPLD library card, and our air soft (bring your own gear) games on Saturday. It's another beautiful Colorado fall day to come enjoy the pumpkin patch at wishing star farm. We have all the activities from the petting zoo to bounce houses to pony rides the pumpkin patch and so much more. Purchase tickets online or at the gate open 9:00 to 5:00 on Saturday, 10:00 to 4:00 on Sunday and this Monday for the holiday open from 10:00 to 2:00.

Looking for a pumpkin patch with lots of activities and a petting zoo for the kids. We are looking forward to a great weekend on Saturday from 9:00 - 5:00 and Sunday from 10:00 - 4:00. We will also be open 10:00 - 2:00 next week on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Tickets available at the gate for $15 or various discounts available online at www.wishingstarfarm.com

Monday we look forward to providing our full weekend Fall Festival experience during a federal holiday, including opportunity for pony rides for kids under 65 lbs for separate fee.

Wednesday is our Teacher and Student appreciation day with $12 admission at the gate with student or teacher ID.

Thursday is a special visit from our friends at PPLD doing a book reading with the animals at 10:00 and 11:00. The book reading is FREE with a short animal encounter in our bounce house area; however, admission to the Fall Festival and Pumpkin patch is separate admission for $12 with your PPLD library card.

Friday will be the full Fall Festival experience with all activities, except pony rides will NOT be available.

We're open from 9:00 to 5:00 today and 10:00 to 4:00 on sunday. Come out to see the animals, participate in the fall fest activities, ride a pony, and get your favorite pumpkin.
