How it all started
It all started way back when I was a young little boy, I was known around the community as a pyromaniac to say the least, I loved building fires and burning stuff, I always shadowed dad growing up as a kid and was always there to lend a helping hand when dad was building a fire are starting the grill, so as I got older I started in the back yard putting my love of fire and skills to good use instead of burning things are my uncles property, I set out on a new mission to keep the age old art of Real Pit BBQ alive!! Spent several years just smoking in the back yard for the family, turned into request from family to cook for family events and family get to-gathers, weddings and such, and people telling me every time I need to take my love for cooking to the next level and I always blew it off how ever its always been a dream until last year when I up-sized from a small back yard smoker bought at Lowes to a commercial rig you see above and started Off Road BBQ, So I ran it for awhile making the adjustments going from a small rig to a much bigger one, then last October we decided to take it to the next level and designed and had built a 16’ trailer fully equipped Grill on wheels to add to our arsenal and then came a revamp and name change to Off Road Grill & Treats, what was once a dream is becoming reality, And I owe it all to the 2 above in the pic above, Dad who seen my dream and my love for cooking just like his and helped out a lot from set up man, store runs for ice are what ever just there to support and see my dream come to reality, and most importantly my wife Ashley who has been by side and supported me since the beginning helping me make my dream come true, taking care of all the paper work and the business end of things, ordering and picking up my supplies, and putting up with me when things get crazy are something goes on. and of course the Girls Alexandra and Elizabeth they help a lot from taking orders to helping there mom and handing out orders, I also owe a lot to my family and friends for all there help and they always show up to my events to eat and show there support and I’m thankful!!
And most importantly God none of which would be possible with out him!!
That being said come out and see us and help me and my family live out my dream! and call on us for any of your catering are special events needs, whether it be a Birthday party, graduation party, wedding, corporate are office luncheon etc. call on us to take care of the food for you while you enjoy your event are special occasion with out worry!! While I do my part to keep the age old art of Real-Pit BBQ alive!! And I cant wait to share my Skills with my Son Camden when he gets old enough!!
