Bird Inspirations: Lesser Flamingo

While my children and I were watching a nature program the Lesser Flamingo was featured. I was struck by it is beauty and its ability to drink toxic alkaline water and use it as nourishment--resilient!! Because the water’s acidity level is so high, it in turn causes the flamingo's colors to become intense and vibrant- even turning their eyes red. The Lesser Flamingos are monogamous birds, another aspect that I find fitting for a bridal bouquet 🥰🥰.

That moment I decided to create floral bouquets inspired by birds. This is the first of the collection and is one of a kind!

Flamingo Bouquet details:

Approximately 11.5” across and 30” diameter
7 Coral roses (5 large full bloom/2 full bloom)
6 Soft pink ranunculus
2 Deep red poppies, centered made of pink translucent beads
6 Black curled feathers
Dark green leaves
Entire bouquet is handmade, and with today's current events having a bouquet that will last forever is a plus.

Handle will be wrapped upon purchase and will be completed to requested color.

Enchanted Table Arrangements

This was a volunteer engagement that I was fortunate enough to get to help with. Club Hope Foundation Inc is an amazing organization and each year they hold a Ball in recognition of members who are fighting the fight against cancer. Additional table pieces were the request.

I created a stand-alone piece made from wire and shaped into an individual base to give the flowers the appearance they were standing magically on their own.

Each arrangement was made from an array of handmade crepe flowers, Sola flowers and all greenery was individually handmade. Additionally, each arrangement has been accented with key placed gems to reflect light. Each piece stands 6 to 8 inches tall.

Lavender Bouquet and Boutonniere to match a lavender beaded gown

Bouquet created with Sola hand dyed flowers-- shout out to Kendra for dying these for me!! BEAUTIFUL Kendra’s Keepsakes.-- Sola flowers arranged with live roses in varied shades of cream and lavender. Embellishments of brooches to accent the gorgeous bead work of the formal dress. In addition to the brooches are over sized translucent/shimmery light blue beads and Swarovski Stones. Handle was wrapped with tulle from the dress, satin ribbon and pearl floral pins.

Bouquet requested to match a good sequins dress. Bouquet made hand painted silk magnolia leaves, wooden cream roses, hand painted mini pine cones, and satin roses. Embellished with gold brooches, mini foam roses, gold and silver beads, crystal beads and Swarovski stones. Handle wrapped in silver and gold satin.

Matching boutonniere made with hand painted silk magnolia leaf, wooden rose, hand painted mini pine cones and surrounded by silver beads. Wrapped with matching satin and secured with study safety pin.

Red and White Christmas bouquet to match navy blue dress

Bouquet made with live red roses, wooden white roses and encircled with greenery. Embellished with hand painted pine cones, crystal bead work, clear rhinestone brooch and Swarovski stones. Handle wrapped in silver satin ribbon

Peacock themed corsage and boutonniere

Custom peacock corsage to match an emerald green gown. Corsage attached on a crystal rhinestone bracelet. Colorful peacock feathers fan out around a diamond rhinestone center with blue silk floral petals. Matching Boutonniere.

Boutonnieres are made with a sturdy safety pin woven into the stem wrap for no fuss easy-on-- No more fighting with straight floral pins and stabbing your date like a voodoo doll. 😊
