I did a deep prune of the roses last night and will have so many gorgeous ones wrapped up for you today. It’s always hard to do, but you will thank me when the next flush makes its way to the garden. Today will be the final day we are open until the 22nd. 💕
Also this shot was just gorgeous. I love the evening sunsets with the glowing lights from the shop. So cozy!

We have all sorts of goodies down at the shop today and Blakely helped put together these lavender bunches. They smell amazing!!
The shop will be closed July 14-21st while we are out of town. I didn’t want to push it and ask if our house sitter had any floral design experience 😂. This will be the last long closure of the summer. Run over and grab something special before Sunday!

Happy Thursday! I wanted to share a little life update for you guys as I feel things have been a bit quieter this season. In conversation lately I have heard a lot of I don’t know how you do it all…Trust me I don’t! There are so many weeds, thrips 🤢, things are behind due to lack of planning and so on.
This summer I have really been focusing on self care, family time, reflection and processes. There is never really a down time when it comes to flowers, you are constantly working ahead to start new seedlings, turn over crops, pest management, taxes, marketing, orders etc. I am working to find my sweet spot on how to grow all the things I love but not completely burn myself out in the process. My overall goal for this year is to plan for next year and begin to streamline things and continue to grow and love this amazing business I have built. I still have so many fun things planned before the summer comes to a close and can’t wait to share them with you. As always I appreciate your support more than you know and taking this time to reorganize will help to make 2025 our best yet!
The transformation our property has gone through in the last 5 years is just amazing to look back on. Much of the work was done by hand with a tiny baby or two by my side, my husband and good friends helped to take down trees where the shop now sits, the dry grassy overgrown field now has rows and rows of beautiful flowers, we added an actual fence instead of struggling with deer netting and the addition of the flower shop. So proud at all we have accomplished together. 💕

The days have been warm, but working outside in the evenings has been absolutely magical. I have had my fair share of setbacks this season, but being able to care and harvest these beautiful buckets of flowers makes everything so worth it. I learn something new every year and will continue to get better each trip around the sun. I have beautiful flowers waiting for you in the cooler, just send me a message with what size bouquet and the time you want to pick up. 💕💐 The shop is also open and full of thrifted and new treasure’s.

We are home from vacation and the fields have been doing their thing in my absence. So many fun blooms/new growth. I have a few dahlias blooming, yarrow, garden roses, cosmos, snaps, eucalyptus and poppies. Sweet peas and the first succession of sunflowers will be here any day. I loved every minute of our time away with our friends, but it feels so nice to be home.

I have always had a passion for upcycling roadside finds and antique store treasures. Several years ago my best friend and I began attending local craft shows and I have been hooked ever since. I dealt with Etsy almost exclusively while organizing my wedding and loved all the handcrafted goods I had purchased & knew someday I would love to start a shop of my own. Three years later I finally worked up the courage to open my store and share my designs. I want everyone that purchases from me to not only enjoy their product but also to have a positive experience throughout the entire process.
