Fun spot for a wedding at the Brookfield Zoo! We installed 24 strands of radial cafe lighting with uplights in the swan pavilion, and our couple spent some quality time with the giraffes :)

The Art Institute of Chicago is one of our favorite venues to work, though the tight turnaround times can be tricky - on this day, there was 2 hours available to setup a 150' long drape wall, as well as a 30' draped entrance, a 30' backdrop leading to the museum, 22 pinspots, uplights, and cafe lighting in the outdoor garden. What a day! Many thanks to Victoria of Ashland Addison Florists for hiring us on this one, we saw you hustling right alongside us :)

We handled the stage wrap and steps, aisle runner, backdrop and uplights, entrance drape, room wash lighting and stage furniture, vinyl dance floor wrap and pinspots. Wow, it's been a long time since we've made a post! There's just not enough time during wedding season unfortunately. But, now we have a whole season of new wedding photos to post, starting with this mini light canopy and fabric backdrop at Loft on Lake!

Thanks to The Schoolhouse for hosting our 2023 new hire training day! We had a great turnout and added 9 new employees to our team this year. As usual, we prioritized learning how to swag drape, and even had time to mount some cafe lights on the ceiling. Here's to another successful year!

We were glad to be a part of Akeshi of Kesh Events new book launch a couple weeks ago! After a decade of collaborating on different events with her team and hundreds of photographs, half our clients think we're florists now, too 😅 (PS, we're not - though we did provide greenery walls and infrastructure for this fabulous enchanted garden entryway, among other things!)

A neat corporate event with a casino theme tonight - we provided lighting, ostrich feather centerpieces, entrance drapes and a nearly 100' black backdrop, and a mini light canopy, which seems to be pretty popular lately!

We had a great time working with our vendor partners on this wedding! - 11 chandeliers, a 50' wide 3 tier backdrop, pin spots and up lights were most of our contribution to this wedding. Can't wait to see the pro pics!

We had a great turnout for our spring 2022 new hire training session this past weekend - a big thank you to Robb and Eaglewood Resort & Spa in Itasca for letting us use their ballroom! For this training session, we wanted a bit of a south Asian influence to debut some new furniture and drapery, and we focused heavily on swagging drape, which is the most difficult aspect of the job to learn. Everybody worked hard, learned a a lot, and did a great job!
