Here we’re reflexing the flower. It’s often shown with roses, but this is how you do it with a tulip — peeling back it’s layers of petals which totally changes its shape and makes it look like a different flower.

Event planning versus event designing…what exactly is the difference?!
The difference is actually vast but to simplify it we thought we would throwback to this IG live from the table design exhibition in Istanbul.
Luxury international planner Charley King @charleybluebell interviews designer Jen Gould @jengouldevents as she describes what went in to her display at the exhibition.
Planners work with clients to work through and plan all aspects of your event—timing, guests, venue, food & beverage, the list goes on.
While designers, handle what the event will actually look like. Coming up with a vision and executing that through decor.
At Jen Gould Events not only do we handle design, but we also fabricate everything in house. So your event transformation goes from a concept to a full build all under one roof.

Last month, my mom was in town for a quick visit, so of course, we had to take a trip to the office & design studio. For those who don’t know, my mother started in this business over 49 years ago. The industry has changed so much since then, but it’s always so special being back together where it all started. I’m endlessly grateful to have a mother, best friend, and mentor all in one. 🤍 I miss living in the same state as her, but knowing she’s living her best life in Florida makes me cherish these moments even more.
