Thirsty?!? Come quench your thirst at the Scrubgrass Grange Corner Cafe. We offer a variety of drinks to wet your whistle including Barb’s famous iced tea, Jaimie Juice (Gatorade/lemonade mix), Arnold Palmers (iced tea/lemonade mix), and Cocoa Mochas (coffee/hot chocolate mix). We will also be carrying Farmer in the Dell milk in pints and half gallon sizes.

Thanks to everyone who attended our Remake Learning Event last night - Flights Fancy. We learned a lot about Claire, Irvin, Lucky, Rosey, and bald eagles in general! It was also fun to interact with the participants who made eagle straw rockets and bird feeders following the presentation. We hope you had as much fun as we did… thanks for spending the evening with us! 🦅🦅🦅

Last Saturday, the Scrubgrass Grangers got together to plan the upcoming year and celebrate the holiday season. As a throwback to the years we would go caroling, we enjoyed a holiday potluck of breakfast for dinner! Barb and Glenn Gross were honored and thanked for their work on the Pennsylvania Grange Quilt Block Trail. We also enjoyed wonderful music by Molly McCarthy and a gift exchange. If you are interested in becoming active in a service organization with a great group of people, please let us know. We are always welcoming new members.

Busy, busy Tuesday at the Venango County Fair! Started out the day serving 17.5 dozen eggs. Dinner was super busy too with hot sausage, cheeseburgers, French fries, and chicken tenders going out the window as fast as we could make them. The fair is our biggest fundraiser of the year, so we are thankful for hungry people, long lines and lots of orders!

Also wanted to share our newest menu item - Jogging Joes. Stop and try one this week. Let us know what you think!

This week all the Grangers are busy working hard serving food at the Scrubgrass Grange Corner Cafe at the Venango County Fairgrounds. Please stop in and enjoy some good fair food while supporting our community organization. The Scrubgrass Grange building is used for the Senior Center, line dancing, the Scrubgrass Stitchers Quilt Guild and EPP group.

It is the most wonderful time of the year! It is Venango County Fair week. Starting tonight through next Sunday morning our members and volunteers will be serving fair food favorites for breakfast, lunch and dinner from 7:30am each day until close. Stop by and support our Grange and all of the kids that have prepared their projects and animals for this week.

Our food cafe' will be open tonight at the Venango County Fairgrounds. Join in the pyrotechnics display and enjoy a Hot Sausage, Cheeseburger, Sloppy Joe or even a Hot Dog along with your French Fries. It looks like it is going to be a great night for fireworks!
