What a wonderful day captured by imagery.LIFE of Luke and Hannah’s day.

Our brides and grooms are our only priority on wedding day. We have no other groups on our property during the wedding. There is also decorating the day before and allowing pickup of decor the day after. Aside from that, drive through the grounds of Hilltop Gardens on Chestnut at 5402 Chestnut st, Emmaus, PA…where our venue is located. You will just love the foliage and flow of the property. Oh and if you haven’t heard…we don’t ever serve “wedding food.” Our team is always tasked at making sure your guests say “this is the best food I have ever had at a wedding!” Most of the groups that book with us care about the party and the food. We always vote yes to both of those being the top reasons we do weddings.

It’s the start of fall weddings and we are looking forward to a great day. But first. I found my people. Oatly is the best Oat Milk in my opinion, but also…I never noticed the sheer amount of words and explanations on the box. And it made my heart so happy. A company who is fine with being “too much.” Lmao. If I designed a milk carton this is what it would read like. 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣😍

We are looking forward to the beginning of some great collaborations with The Kindness Project: A Foster Care Resource in 2023. If you have not followed the journey of this amazing organization, I can’t recommend it enough.

Our team is looking forward to hosting this Sponsor event for 120 people tomorrow night as 2023 brings some fun plans to support them with a 29 Cooks flair! Stay tuned!

Next week at this time, we will be cleaning up and getting ready to go home as we conclude our first wedding of the season. Amber and Ryan will move on to the next part of their journey as husband and wife! We couldn’t be more happy for them!

We are always so impressed with the details the families and friends think of for the many showers we host. A fun Southwest taco bar complete with bbq grilled mini burritos were a perfect fun touch to the day! No doubt that Baby (Kutzor)Petropoulos will have a ton of love coming their way ❤️. Congrats to Tara and George!

We spend a ton of time getting to know our couples. I think our favorite thing is that we will only do one wedding a weekend as we want the entire property and focus to be on the couple. There are SO many moving pieces, regardless of the size of the wedding. It is so important that we make the bride and groom feel our undivided attention. Bernadette and Steve were so nice to work with. The energy and ideas just really made the day come together so beautifully! We wish them nothing but the absolute best! Huge thanks to my 29 Cooks team. I was out recovering from a knee replacement surgery, and was mainly here as a guest in the kitchen. lol. They did such a fabulous job with all the details, food and service. I can’t thank them enough! (I know Bernie will notice lol, sorry I didn’t snap the picture of the trees when they were full with the handmade, by her, keepsake seating ornaments! Beautiful!)

So many people are having so many issues with staffing…and I’m not saying we are back to pre-Covid staffing…but we see a lot of posts dedicated to that, but I want to take a minute to say: My team is an amazing, dedicated, truly service oriented group of people. And Kevin and I, couldn’t be more blessed to have them care as much as they do. A big thank you to our 29 Cooks team for just nailing it, event after event, being there for every pivot, and showing up ready to create, day after day. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Having a venue allows us the bittersweet honor of hosting large Celebrations of Life like we did tonight for The Halloran Family and Friends. We cannot say enough to express our prayers and condolences for the parents, siblings, family and friends of a young guy who lived his life to the fullest and left a mark on so many people, and is gone entirely too soon. 265 people celebrated his life tonight with some of his favorite things. A special thanks to Ecco Domani Italian Restaurant for providing Shane’s Favorite place for Buffalo Chicken Pizza to add to our buffet.

What an amazing weekend to have the 50th Annniversary Picnic for Skepton Construction on the beautiful grounds of Hilltop Gardens on Chestnut ! Thank you to Kevin Frantz and Bob Perose for letting us be a part of their amazing company and culture by celebrating with great food and fun! We LOVE cooking for this group and they, their wives, families and team always make sure to think to have something for everyone! A huge thanks to my 29 Cooks Team. The amount of detail, talent and work it takes to feed 220 people and make sure everything flows, is only possible with one of the best event teams in the Lehigh Valley. Thank you all!

Imagine every day having the opportunity to drive into work and see all of the flowers and just a beautiful property that continues to just get more and more gorgeous all the time! It doesn’t hurt that the inside has some majorly delicious food being made every day either! If you haven’t driven through the Hilltop Gardens on Chestnut property where our 29 Cooks / Gather event team is cooking and holding events inside and outside, you should detour! Warning: everyone says I need to create an event to have here 😂🤣. But we are ready for that too!

The Happiest 41st Birthday to our friend Geoff Conklin!!! We had the absolute best time working with Alison Conklin planning the ultimate “All of Geoff’s Favorite things” Surprise Party!! The food was amazing, the props so fun, and the Trivia was the perfect activity by Wesley Works! Amazing job by our 29 Cooks team and thank you to the Hilltop Gardens on Chestnut team for the amazing upkeep they do to this property. Everyone commented on how beautiful it all is!

There are so many beautiful pics to share from today’s Bridal Tea Shower, we can’t pick which ones to share-so why not post them all! Huge shout out to Molly Carraher and the bridal team for today’s decor and Marla - the brides mom who couldn’t wait for today’s party to finally be able to happen after having to move it multiple times! The Cheesecakes and cookies and baklava were amazing and provided by Will’s family…and without our amazing team 29 Cooks, there is no way any of us could have helped make today even more delicious! Last year we were forced outside because of Covid, but today was a beautiful day and we enjoyed choosing to be on the gorgeous patio overlooking the Hilltop Gardens on Chestnut grounds! Congrats to Mere and Will Galiatsatos!!!!

What a gorgeous day for a wedding!! We are so happy to congratulate Sarah and Luis on their marriage! We were pretty busy getting all of the details together, so there aren’t too many pics…but our whole team really loved the amazing energy and fun party we helped this couple, their family and their friends! Amazing cake, cookies and cupcakes from City Cakes! Huge kudos to my 29 Cooks team for a fabulous job!

Our Saturday was so amazing! We absolutely loved helping Nicole and Jack finally (after multiple date moves due to COVID!), bring all of the planning together. They were so wonderful to work with and we were happy that they were so happy! Amazing job -to our 29 Cooks team!! Gorgeous flower and decor by the Allium Floral design team, delicious carrot cake by Bittersweet Bakery, LLC! It was a terrific day!

I missed breakfast pics but getting ready for a terrific 29 Cooks hot lunch shortly for the Philadelphia District Church of The Nazarene Women’s retreat organized by my sister Anne Newberry! We missed them last year because of Covid and are happy to be able to host the group again. Excellent work by our team and our event Chef Michelle Killen Wolman who always brings it home for us! Huge thanks to Sugar City Bakery of Emmaus for jumping in to create a cake and pie bar! We are never ever disappointed to partner with them.

Thank you so much to Melissa Martinez and Martinez for holding their Mom, Liz, Celebration of Life with us today! What a beautiful party with amazing music with her friends and family. Garcia did an amazing job on the backdrop display!! Elizabeth Reyes of Mothers & Daughters Creationz made beautiful cake pops and cookies as favors! Highly recommended! A big thanks to our 29 Cooks team for another day of excellent food and service! It’s been a busy but great weekend back inside with events.
