I also grilled banana bread for our Nutty Chicken Salad Banana Bread Bites, have brownies in the oven because we were short (of course) 6 of the hearts for the remaining cookie box pick ups, made a Mocha Oat Milk Iced Latte…and I’m about to sear 100 Petit filets…shout out to the chefs who were at work at 4 am today who ate pretending to get caught up this morning…I’m with you! #christmascatering #chefslife #ChristmasCooking Cindie Feldman
I just passed my neighbors cows. I found myself instantly thankful, (after the third 16 hour day in a row this week), that I am not a chef “living off the land”. As amazing as that sounds, and all the props to any who do, I cannot imagine in this cold, me and Bessie (the cow) settling in to get some fresh cream this morning. We have made well over 3000 Christmas cookies this week for our Cookie Box pickups…and the milk with those cookies can just come from the Giant. Lol. #RandomMorningThoughts
