Owing & operating the venue requires a lot of literal blood, sweat, and tears 😭 Some days are overwhelming & we question if this is all worth it. But, then… we get a sweet note like the one from Felicia & Jacob who were married in The Barn last night and it reminds us that all the sacrifices are 100% worth it ❤️ Having the honor of being a part of a couple’s best day is why we do this! We wish Felicia & Jacob a long, happy, healthy life together 🥂

Welcome to The Barn at Black Canyon in Emmett! Our welcoming & charming venue surrounded by country fields is the perfect setting for your special day. Now booking through 2025!

Your rental includes:

-Use of the large, open-air barn with several options for covered or outdoor ceremony & reception setup
-Custom-built bar with a laid back, roadhouse vibe
-Air-conditioned romantic Bride’s Room with comfortable furnishings
-Air-conditioned and unique Groom’s Quarters inside a repurposed grain silo
-Large shaded patio
-Two lawns and firepit (wood included)
-Lounge with pool table
-Use of any decor items in our ever-expanding inventory
- Chairs and tables, including setup and teardown
-Personal and accomodating service from folks who truly care about your wedding experience
-Gorgeous sunsets and country views
-Trash service and removal
-Alcohol allowed; must hire licensed & insured bar service (we can give referrals)
-Plenty of parking

Daily rental fee is $3,500 & includes everything above.

Add-ons such as ceremony officiant services, large misting fan, and shade canopies are available for an additional fee.

We can accommodate up to 150 people.

Say hi to Phil 👋🏼 No, we haven’t decided to open a used car lot in The Barn! Phil has an important job that he does very well! • One of the hardest parts of maintaining an open air barn is keeping the birds out… or more importantly, keeping their 💩 out! We tried all sorts of “foolproof tricks”. We built a scarecrow (his name was Bob), but the birds just laughed & pooped all over him. We tried the spikes. These birds apparently like sitting on them. For extended periods of time 👎🏼 We tried devices that supposedly emit a sound that birds hate. Ha. I think it was the opposite 🕊🦅🦆🦜🦉 Finally, Billy realized that the birds wouldn’t come into The Barn when we were out there working. If only there was a way to have a scarecrow that would randomly move 🤔 That’s when he had his big “ah-ha!”moment! Billy jumped on to Amazon & ordered 10-foot Phil, plus a timer. Phil now runs 40 seconds on and 50 seconds off 24/7 whenever people aren’t in The Barn, keeping it virtually free of birds & their “evidence”! • We’re booking weddings & events now through 2022.
