The new food truck/gathering area is mostly complete! Walking through last night after dark felt a bit magical. ✨ AJP Electric LLC did a great job with the lights! I was going to add music to this video but then you wouldn’t be able to hear the tree frogs… and my flipflops. 😆
HUGE thanks to Daniel & Megan at Riley Generators for saving the day today! The power was out in Hazardville all day due to tree limbs taking out a power line.. but we noticed the generator at the barn wasn’t kicking on. Turns out it needed a new battery, some other minor maintenance, and I also got a lesson on what to do to keep this thing running smoothly in the future! I will definitely be signing up to have it serviced every year, especially so it will be sure to crank right up in a snowstorm, or if the power ever happens to go out while an event is going on! 😬😅
The new shed was delivered today! Over the last year, we emptied out and took down 6 old rusty sheds plus a 40ft trailer to clean up the property a bit. It was a lot of work... I say we earned this fancy new one! 😅

Demo day! Although it’s sad many events this spring have been cancelled or postponed, all this extra time is being used to get some big projects done around the barn. Hope everyone is staying sane & healthy! 🙂
Great day for a new roof! Hazardville Roofing did the barn in 1988 and here they are again 31 years later. They sure make it look easy up there!
